How many les would SA and Dallas have won? Parker/Manu/Dirk, how good would they have been? Would Duncan have been able to finally make the Mavs a legit sports franchise?

This isn't gonna go well.
Both teams win championships. Spurs would have won at least 1 le with Dirk, and no way do the Mavs blow 06 with Duncan.
Spurs don't beat the 05 Pistons with Dirk.
I think the gap between Duncan's offense and Dirk's offense is much smaller than Duncan's defense and Dirk's defense. I don't think the Spurs win a le with Dirk.
But this is something so subjective and hard to quantify that it really is pointless to debate.
Spurs won les with defense. A defense that was anchored by Duncan, unless the Spurs wouldve complimented Dirk with a shot-blocking prescence in their frontline I dont see the Spurs winning les. Mavs I see getting atleast 2006 and probably even 2007, those teams were pretty stacked.
i think the spurs could win in 2006 with Dirk.
The real question would be if you put Dirk with Duncan on the Spurs or Duncan with Dirk on the Mavs, which team would have more les?
Dirk with a minimum 6 peat.

While their personalities are somwhat similar, these types of switches are impossible - we're talking a 6 year period? The FO builds around their best players' personalities and skillsets, so who knows what both teams would have done differently had they owned different centerpieces who play fundamentally different games.
It really is almost pointless to try and think about this. There is way to many what-if scenarios and the limits will get stretched to almost a silly level.

I think the Spurs would have won a le with Dirk, but the mavs would not have won a le even if they had such a great player as Duncan. But, this useless to think about.

With Dirk instead of Duncan, the Lakers mop the floor with the Spurs in 03, and the Pistons beat the Spurs in 05. If the Spurs swap Dirk for Duncan in 07, then Dallas kills the Warriors in 5 and dispatches the Spurs in 6. Dirk doesn't make up for Manu's injury and the ty supporting cast in both 08 and 09. No way Dirk gives the Spurs a better chance to beat LA in 04. I'm not sure about 06. Dallas' supporting cast was pretty awesome that series against SA.
