You know it's a rough crowd around here.
Cali pay more argh..
Say i move to cali and I want a new home... say oh i dunno 3,000sq. What's the average cost?
You know it's a rough crowd around here.
Hey! guess who just got a call to possibly work at a 5 star hotel as a security guard making 18 an hour! This guy did.
It varies greatly depending on where you want to live.
Did you get an interview? If so, good luck!
i ain't mexican but i love latinas, horchata and mole! haha.
Congrats brah. Now just shave and don't show up to your interview looking like a cholo and you should be golden.![]()
just finding a job, finding one good enough to have a decent quality of life. I make over 100k per year and found it tough out there.
It's a beautiful state, lots to do but it's best days are gone, its been run into the ground no signs of life any time soon.
I lived in SoCal for two years and left at the beginning of the housing bubble.
I wouldn't live in CA for anything. They are totally screwed up:Lots and lots and lots of people apparently. You should get out more.
a special line of cars are made just for CA (more expensive)
special motorcycles too.
I enjoy shooting and collecting guns. No can do in CA.
state is broke.
stupid vehicle regs.
earthquakes. I lived there from 1970-73 so I've been thru some MAJOR ones.
Schwarzenegger.
Miss California.
pollution
gangs
airheads
dozens more stupid laws that I've read about but forgotten.
I lived in San Diego in the late 60s, and then moved to Virginia, then moved back to CA from 1970-73 (went to middle school in Oxnard). Yeah, I'm old.
It was fun back then when I was a kid, but I'd never go there as an adult to live.
They have to make you take a class first then you get an interview. They only care about felonies so I'm good.
I'm going to stop trying to shave my head and just buzz cut it. I don't want a fade or none of that cause it costs money.
if you can make it here, you won't regret it.
focus on money first and play second.
Yea that's exactly what I do. It saves money on haircuts, but I kinda miss the es rubbing their s on me while they cut my hair.
went to middle school in OxnardMy hometown. Glad I got out of there.
Lots of ridiculous stereotypes in your post though bender. You should know better at your advanced age.
The pollution is nowhere near what it was in the 70s. Even from the late 90s to this decade, LA seems to have made huge strides cleaning its air up. There's still too many cars and it's still surrounded by mountains, so there can be bad days, but it's not like it was at it worst in the 70s and 80s.
well obviously not some ghetto... some place nice, like a place where people actually take care of their lawns
one thing I take for granted.
Here you go man. 1600 sq ft. 2 bedrooms. 850,000

It's worth it to be walking distance from Canter's.
Seriously koriwhat, check Canter's Deli. It's ing badass and open 24/7.
I miss Canter's.
And Philippe's French Dip.
California is great LA sucks ass.
the re ed laws are state-wide, not limited to LA
Stay alive.
I can't fight you on that. I moved out from MI to Santa Barbara not looking back it's worth the extra money to live in a place this nice.
