Chicken Express is the one they have in all teh gas stations in Dallas right? Talke about jerky...everytime I get that I regret it. That is more crusted up and dried out than a 2 month old dog turd.

I think when dealing with fast food chains, different locations can be drastic changes from one another. Going back to your chicken express post, I love chicken express. I once ate there every single day for over a month straight, and serendipity salt is the shiz. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Kennedale, but one time I ate there and it was totally . Nothing like any of the other chicken expresses ive been to. And I've been there since then and the food was fine. Alot of it has to do with who's running it at the time. Teenagers working for minimum wage don't give a flying if your food sucks.

kennedale is in the burbs and it sucks though mono. the one in arlington off cooper is decent and the one in mansfield

Yeah it's definitely chicken express that is in a load of those gas stations. And you are probably right about the burbs, that's probably why the Church's I go to doesn't suck. However...that is no excuse for the main Popeye's I was talking about which is in the burbs. Flat out, Popeye's doesn't have it's together as a company. Their sodas are always flat too.

The other Popeye's I go to is in San Marcos by Texas State and these are college kids working three and there has been like 3 times I've gone through their drive through and they tell me they'll be with me in a second and I end up waiting like 10 minutes to get my order taken, and there'll be nobody else in the drive through line....I always order the food and then drive off after ordering it.

IMHO, every chicken place has the good, the bad and the ugly. I find Bill Miller's to be kind of bland, popeye's is nice and y and KFC is KFC and you know what you are getting every damn time.
I just like fried chicken.

The problem is not that no one can make it...the problem is that Popeye's is the only fasfood chain that makes it. Or if they aren't there's is the best.


People that like Popeye's like it because it's got cajun e. although it's usually not very strong e. I always get suckered into getting it because of the e and am always underwhelmed.


My major problem with Popeye's is that their service ing sucks ass and their chicken is usually cold or takes 20 minutes to cook.


And that one dude in that video was right...they are almost always out of something.


Anyway:

Church's has the best chicken.

GoldenChick had the best chicken tenders. Seriously...they kick the out of any and all chicken tenders on the planet. They also have the best catfish. Their catfish is better than most restaurant catfish.

I don't like KFC although I did when I was a kid...but one time my Dad or Mom brought some home that was ing nasty and I got sick from eating it. I don't eat KFC after that.

Popeyes's wins on Redbeans and Rice, Greenbeans and I liked their naked y chicken strips but they stopped carrying those.

The Lucky J's cart/truck on Burnet across from Phil's Icehouse has the best chicken/batter I have had in Austin. The waffles look like Eggos but the chicken is good enough it doesn't matter.
