Kobe cheated, he didn't rape. It was consensual. And I'm not a Kobe lover by any means, but dude...he's miles better than Lebron.

    Kobe 4 rings

    Lebron 0 rings

Lebron needs to win some rings first. Stats mean nothing if championships are not attached to them.

First off, who's the best supporting player that LeBron has ever had? A guy name Mo Williams, who can shoot when he's open and score a few buckets. He now has a washed up Shaq past his prime, but even that may be enough to win a le.

    Who has Kobe had?

Shaq, in his prime. He now has Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum, the best front court in the league. He also has Lamar Odom, and many veterans such as Derek Fisher.
I don't think you quite get it. Sure, Kobe had Shaq and Lebron hasn't had anyone. But the fact is, supporting cast and non supporting cast, one guy has won, and one hasn't...that's all that matters. You can't say a guy is better than another guy because he hasn't had the same teammates. That just doesn't work. Kobe makes other players better. He made Derek Fisher a good shooter by taking all the pressure away. Once Lebron figures out how to make his teammates better, he'll be on Kobe's level, but who knows when that'll happen.

Kobe is better because he makes his teammates better...Lebron doesn't...it's not just about what he does with his own game. This is a team sport...

you mean Lebron holding the ball at the top of the 3 point line for 22 seconds isnt making his teamamtes better?

I know you only have 800 posts, but

here I can tell you didn't read my post

    Reason #2

LeBron is the better passer and rebounder. Say what you will about Kobe's ability to score, but LeBron is better at just about every phase of the game, especially passing and rebounding. LeBron's assists numbers destroy Kobe Bryant. Even when Kobe Bryant was
more of a facilitator and had Shaq-Daddy to throw lob passes to, he only averaged 5, or at best 6, assists per game. Compare that to LeBron's 7.5 and it's a not contest, especially when you consider the no-names he is pass the ball to.
As for the rebounding, it's not even close. Forget the actual boards, LeBron grabs 11.9% of all boards available, and 19% of all defensive boards. That's an amazing stat for a guy who plays out on the perimeter as much as he does.

Or, his newest tact: taking the ball into corner of the sideline and half court line and standing there.

Kobe got the 3 rings and was a much better defender than LeBron in his 1st 6 seasons compared to LeBron gathering greater individual accolades and statistics whilst reviving a dead franchise.

Kobe is a great great player, one of the best offensive weapons in the NBA while he played, and a very good defender (for 30 seconds at a time, no more than 3 times a game).

However, Kobe has shown a kryptonite-like weakness to his game: Phil Jackson. Kobe is ineffective as a player when Phil doesn't coach. Not that he can't score, or can't win regular season games, most of the time, but he can't put things 'together' without him, at least not yet.

LeBron has had his own issues with coaches (Snow getting rid of Sials? Yeah right...), But he has at least been able to cary his team into the playoffs and advance fairly far. Now his Finals run was a bit fraudulent (a paper thin injured Wiz, mentally unstable Pistons, etc.) but he was fighting his coach the whole way, as he does to this day.

    That is pretty amazing.
