Nice try at deflection jerk off.

Peyton and Romo aren't even in the same league. Romo isn't even as good now as Manning was his rookie year. But I see you can't answer my question. When has Romo ever won anything?
Last week he won a playoff game, which is one more than Matt Schaub has won. Peyton Manning led the league with 28 INTs his rookie year and his team was 3-13. Oh, and Romo's career passer rating is higher than Peyton's, by the way. Romo is not as good as Peyton right now, but he also hasn't had as much starter experience as Peyton. Quit being ing stupid.

Damn right. It was Tony Romo who gave up 34 points to the Vikings. him! Why couldn't he do a better job of covering Sidney Rice.

He's a choker for not wining any rings yet? How long has he been a starting quarterback in the NFL again? Are some of you really that ing re ed? Last time I checked, football was a team game. This isn't boxing, tennis, golf, exc. I guess Jim McMahon was a better quarterback than that choker Dan Marino, too. Idiots.

Anybody who actually watched the game knows the Cowboys just got their ass beat by a better team. Hopefully they'll come back better next year.

Peyton will be in the conversation for GOAT. Romo is Romo.

Maybe one day, after his retirement, he will be in the conversation with Brett Favre and Jim Kelly as the biggest choking QBs of all time.

    * First let it be said that I am honestly not trying to stir up. This is a serious question that needs serious answers *

sons as I watched Romo lead his Cowboys to yet ANOTHER playoff beat down I couldn't help but think of his history that is full of failures and very few accomplishments. Now sure the guy will put up respectable numbers during the regular season, but when the playoffs role around he has done nothing but choke. Despite the fact that Romo has only been in the NFL for 7 seasons, I think that he is on a steady pace at becoming one of, if not the biggest choke artist in NFL history. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if he wasn't hyped up as much as he is. From day one his ass has been kissed and he was awarded a huge 6 year contract without ever truly earning it.

In my opinion Tony Romo is a good regular season quarterback (good at best), but a ridiculously HUGE choke artist whenever the playoffs role around. I was so confident in the Cowboys getting beat down today because Romo is their starting QB, that I just won a $1,000 bet thanks to his suckassness. your thoughts?
Son, he's already one of the biggest choke artist. Romo surpassed the Buffalo Bills with today's performance.

I never heard these same excuses whenever Quincy was the starting QB.
Quincy Carter got the same amount of undeserved criticism as any Cowboys QB. Too bad his dumb ass got suspended for drugs a second time and never amounted to anything again. Not sure how that's da white man's fault.

The Cowboys were dominating the game until Romo started turning it over, I think he did choke and he was one of the main reasons why Dallas lost this game.

Son it is funny how I am now seeing you post in the NFL forum AFTER the Saints won. I don't recall seeing you around here during their 3 game losing streak to finish the season.

?? Romo's offensive line gave him no time and he was hit...he lost the ball...therefore he fumbled. Flozell Adams got knocked out of the game and Doug Free can't touch Jared Allen, so they were able to get to Romo constantly. Garrett's playcalling sucked. That's why we lost. Romo wasn't great, but he didn't choke. You can't choke when you're the underdog.

BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT FAVORED!! Let me explain something to you. You can't ing choke a game away if you're not supposed to win it in the first place. As a QB, if you are constantly running for your life and getting hit every other snap, you're not going to have a good game. Dallas' offensive line was destroyed in the game, and when Adams went out, we had no prayer.

Nah, The Cowboys just got their asses kicked by a better team. Plain and Simple. Especially the O-Line. No QB could of won that game with that O-Line performance. No QB whatsoever.

At the begining of the game the comentators were saying how much the Cowboys O-line was dominating the Jets D-line, it was only after Romo's fumbles that the game (and with that the battle of the lines) started to change, the first two fumbles (those that changed the momentum) were Tony's fault.

    The Cowboys have a good team. As much as I despise them, I have to call it as I see it. With that said;

Romo just isn't the guy. You can throw me all the stats on this guy but he's missing something. What that is I don't know but he's not the guy who is taking the Cowboys to the promise land.

Inconsistency? Lack of that 6th sense the great ones have? Intelligence? Intangibles? God only knows but this guy is, has been and will always be a joke of a QB.

Oh, and Wade Phillips. Talk about a "passiontless" coach.

Anyhow, good win Vikings. Thanks for exposing the Cowboys once again.

Yeah..Romo just doesn't have it. In the top 10 in all stats in the league, including top 5 in least INTs and passing yards, and led his team to 12 wins this year. Let's start a team here...You take Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams as your starting QB and backup since they had "it" and won the SB. I'll take Dan Marino and Jim Kelly as my starter and backup. Let's see who wins. It's about the whole ing team..not just the QB.

Nobody said way to go Tony got his first win. Now you're just making up. We congratulated the team. This was a team effort this year..from the first win to the last loss...the ENTIRE team. Our last loss was in the 2nd round of the playoffs..where was yours?

I thought for sure the Cowboys would play better today. I was surprised they got blown out considering how well they played the end of December and last week.

Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, I think Wade will be back considering how well the boys played at the end of the season and the fact they won a home playoff game. But.........I think he's going to be under a lot of pressure to get this team to the next level. He may not be with them beyond 2010 if the cowboys don't make a lot of noise in the playoffs next year.

    Heres a ESPN quote:
    Fast Facts

    • Tony Romo got his first playoff win after losing his first two appearances, going 23 for 35 for 244 yards and two touchdowns.

Not anywhere does it say "team"!
