If you actually watched basketball and the Lakers the last ten years, then yes.

82games.com did a good statistical analysis on Kobe's impact in improving his teammates a while back if you're one of those that never watched the Lakers.

I guess if you formed all your opinions based on what what Jon Berry says on TV I could see why one would think Kobe doesn't make his teammates better.

Shannon Brown was on his last chance in the NBA. Didn't make it on the Bulls or the Bobcats either. Never fitted with Cleveland and wouldn't work hard enough in the gym to get better. His livelihood was on the line and guess what he did something about it finally.

Shaq is not the 2nd best centre in the east and Mo will only get in as injury replacement if he plays as an All-Star this year.
