What's so hard about that to understand? Match-up wise, I think the Magic stand a better chance at beating the Cavs in a series than the Celtics, but if the Cavs were to be eliminated by the Magic (or Hawks, though I can't see it) and the Celtics somehow avoided the Cavs and got the Magic in the conference finals, then I could see them getting to the finals, but I still don't think they'd beat the Lakers.

IIRC, I'm the only one who successfully predicted the fall of the celtics in the pre-season when everyone and their uncle was buying into the "Rasheed hype" that they would be the best defensive team to ever grace an nba court and steamroll everyone including the lakers.
And for the first 9 games they almost lived up to that hype, going 8-1 and holding opponents to extremely low shooting %. But trying to live up to such a ridiculous standard was probably the worst thing they could have tried, given the age and mileage of their core players. They were literally burned out after the first month of the season.

Arguing with someone who argues with himself is loads of fun. Why don't you explain again how the Celtics can't make the Finals and the Magic can ... yet the Celtics have a better chance of winning a championship than the Magic. It's sure to be a great read.
Who said anything about making the finals? We're talking about winning a championship. If by some chance the Celtics can remain relatively healthy AND avoid the Cavs, then I think they got a shot at getting there and even though I don't like their chances against the Lakers, I like them better than the Magic's. But I like the Magic's chances better against the Cavs. Really, it all just depends on the match-ups, health, plus what happens at the trade deadline, but again, you're focused too much on semantics (look it up). In the end, I don't think either can win a championship this season.
And now we've come full circle back to my original take. I said the Celtics could win the championship. You just pointed out how the Celtics could win the championship.

celtics are in a better situation because if they get healthy, they can still win it all. The spurs are relatively healthy (notwithstanding parker's pf), but still aren't getting it done.

I had obligations during the hours of the show where I couldn't participate in the festivities. But to earn an ounce of your respect ( since that's obviously my priority) I will call in sooner or later when my schedule and time allows me to.
After listening to a couple of shows the day after one or two of the games, I thought you had some good takes you just sound like a gnome. It's nothing to get defensive about.
