Outlaw is no chump. He will be a great role player off the bench for them next year as he was in Portland. They needed a decent backup point guard (Telfair sucks apparently). How long did the spurs around looking for a decent backup point guard? They don't grow on trees.
And if the clippers lose a few more games this year by losing Camby it only increases their chances in the lottery, so that angle is covered as well. Any way you look at it, your argument fails.
