I always lose on J's. Don't know what it is. Even if I play them properly. If you don't raise hard pre-flop and you try and slow play them, you will be sweating "bullets" if a Q,K or A hits the board.

I always get pocket Q's, raise pre-flop, someone with pocket aces re-raises, I'll get enamored with getting action on my Q's and forget about the possibility of pocket aces or kings, and wind up losing a ton of chips.
And fun is what it's all about.
Yeah, its tough when someone re-raises you. But that is where knowing the odds and player helps. I used to play so much poker, but have not played since I was in Vegas a few months ago. Before that, it had been only a few times in the last year.
I hate having pocket K's, Q's, J's, etc. and losing to some noob who thinks that Ace 5 or something like that is a good hand automatically because it has an ace so he calls every single bet no matter how big it is and hits an ace on the turn or river.
So much for random tangent.
Back to basketball - Tracy McGrady IS a mother er.
There is a lot of things that suck in poker and it especially sucks when you have to adjust for people's suckiness when you play sometimes.

such gimmicks always work fine, though the forum's quality is consequently damaged collaterally. clearly the "kori ellis show" is the main project shrew currently works on IMHO, which pretty much prevails over Spurstalk forums.
