david west is the most overrated player in the NBA. he lives off of others creating a wide open mid-range shot/lane to the basket. sucks ass at creating his own, sucks ass at defense, sucks ass at pretty much everything other than wide open mid-ranges and wide open lanes to the basket.

wow lots of emotions on display. But to be honest, the only reason hornetsfans disrespect Dirk is because West is one of the handful players who seems to be giving Dirk trouble. Only because he's not torching your team in particular doesnt mean he's not a top-10 player in this league. West might be somewhere in the top30 when it's all said and done.
except dirk actually is the best player on his team, and doesnt need to have his shots gift wrapped to him. he can create his own shot with ease. and teams actually respect him. people still dont respect david west which is why he gets so many easy looks. its sad that he has to play second fiddle to a rookie PG. thats how ty david west is.

I don't disrespect Dirk. I admitted he's a great player. I just said he doesn't give us matchup problems like Shaq or Lebron did the other night.

He doesn't "struggle" against the Hornets. Where are you getting this nonsense from? Look up his #s from the Mavs-Hornets playoffs series two years ago. He was the only Mav that showed up.
