Even though Boston is a worse team, they could end up playing Charlotte, Miami, or Toronto in the first round, a far cry from LA, Dallas, or Denver that the Spurs are likely to see, and hence, I'd put the odds of them making the second round higher than that of the Spurs.

I'd say it's pretty accurate to say you embody SpursReport, what sucked about it, why people came here for better discussions over the rigid unimaginative ones held over there.

What I don't understand is why you left...I can only assume that though suck is unaware it sucks, on some level the all pervasive overhwhelming cloud of suck became to great for even you to stand so you fled...unfortunately for us, a primary cause of the suck was you, and rather than leaving it behind, you brought it here with you, because it is you, and we are all the poorer for it.

Personally I think you should go back whence you came, to the suck that birthed you, I mean why should we suffer because a person who made SpurReport suck made it suck so bad that even he could not longer stand it. I had no qualms about seeing Finley get released. I actually would have liked him to leave his option before the start of the year. That being said, some people hold grudges for no reason. Finley helped the team win the le in 2007. To hate him so much to insinuate he didn't help them win is pretty sad. But it's not like he dominated a team in an elimination game or anything.

Finley did exactly jack to contribue to any of this teams les, and we instantly became the Mavs shank ing the second we signed him, and have been every year that he has been here.

And it's not hard to see why...whatever psychological advantage we had against the Mavs evaporated the second some guy they were canning became an integral part of our team. Our leader.

Fact: The Spurs have been the Mavs every year since we signed Michael Finley, including 2 playoffs defeats...and the one year we won a le, we got lucky we didn't play the Mavs.
