The entire storyline is absolutely laughable. A Director's Cut isn't going to change the plot.
His accent is badass.
Did you watch the Director's Cut Version? It is a cheesey movie at the end with weak villains, but I liked it.

It's based on true history...lol.
The Romans took slaves into their armies and sent them to Great Britain to hold things down.
I have always loved the sword and shield movies that center around a group of warriors, each with different contributing attributes. Knightly and the villains were heavy cheese-factor, but the rest of the story was good I thought
The point is, Mads Mikkelsen is a badass. They should rename this movie; Ownage of the ans: A Mads Mikkelsen do entary.

Mikkelsen I liked in Casino Royale, but once again, his accent bothered me in King Arthur.
As for the movie, come on man . . . nothing in it is believable. Kiera Knightly sword fighting after having her fingers broken and running into the fray half naked in the snow . . . . dude, seriously, you don't see anything re ed about that?
The movie is pure . I love sword and shield movies, but this revisionist bull is just so ing awful.
See, I will watch 13th Warrior for the badass group of Vikings even though I have to sit through 2 hours of Antonio Banderas.![]()
For those that didnt get to see the 2nd leaked trailer or dont feel like looking up a working link, here is one thats still up.

I cant get enough of looking at the Krakken, that thing is full of awesome.
He was a cool character but he died like a little , I was like "SERIOUSLY?! seriously?" I was shocked.
dis movie was suck, don't spring for 3d if you see it in theaters
Any movie that's converted to 3-d is a waste, brofus
this still looks tight tho, i'll check it out on DVD.
Yeah I hear the post-filming 3D procedure makes it look like ass. Even in 2D, there are major issues with the script - redundant dialogue and character motiviations were changed resulting in a much less dramatic and satisfying emotional arc to the movie.
What a wasted opportunity.
spoilier alerts...if you give a ...
it's a funny movie.
i want the wayans to remake it and call it ' ans be fightin'
was that bobcat goldwaith as the guy...
and the al quaida zombie was a blast as well.
but in the end, no blood, no s...major letdown.
and the big bad ass monster basically comes out of the water to get turned to stone and it's over...sheyyyiit...that's it?
i thought transformers 2 had more substance...
your seriously offended?
No,and that was bull
I gotta question. Is Clash of the ans in any way related to Jason and the Argonauts and all the Sinbad movies (not the comedien)? The last time I watched any of those movies I was like 5 yrs old so I don't remember. As I was watching the new Clash I was thinking Perseus and that one chick, not the princess, were gonna do it and make Jason.
that cyclops in Sinbad and the Seven Seas scared the crap out of me back in the day
I'm meant the storyline
+1
Can't also forget those skeletons..don't remember which of all the movies I mentioned those were in but none the less were pretty damn freaky
No, nothing really to do with eachother other than greek mythology.
Perseus, I think, was the first hero in greek mythology though. The Greeks believe he was a real person and founded Mycenae.
Jason, I believe, was strictly just a mythical hero.
I could be wrong on both accounts.
Either way, two completely different stories unrelated to eachother.

Skeletons are in Jason and the Argonauts.
Yeah this movie was a letdown...fell asleep at one point.
But I blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol.
Yes, it had to of been the alcohol. As big of a let down as it was, anyone sober HAD to be looking forward to seeing the Kraken therefore easily staying awake. Too bad the Kraken itself was in the movie for like 2 minutes and never even fully seen![]()
This movie suuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. I was disappointed. I was looking forward to this for months and even ordered my tickets way ahead of time. My mom loved the original and loves big ass monsters in general and has never seen an actual 3D movie so I thought this would be the perfect movie to take her to see. Now I feel like I ruined her 3D experience.
DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE IN 3D!! It was dark and grainy. We ended up taking off our glasses for most of the movie. It was blurry but it was still even better without it. Plus, we fell asleep and my mom had to nudge me to stop me from snoring louder.
The Krakken.....pfffff. It didnt have that same feel as it did in the trailers.
That movie sucked so much ass!
