In all fairness I spend half my day playing video games and the other half masterbaiting to youporn.
And I'm about 180 and can maybe bench 50 pounds.
Xbox360 is so ty is not even funny

Seriously though... who gives a ? Nerds have been having this same argument about consoles, video cards, etc for decades now. It's unlikely that Microsoft or Sony are going anywhere anytime soon, so enjoy whichever you pick and leave everybody else alone with their decision.
Be...cause I enjoy gaming, it's a hobby I would even go so far as to say I have a passion for, and it's enjoyable to talk and even argue about?
Why did you join Spurstalk? People have been having the same argument about who's better in sports for decades now. It's unlikely that the NBA is going anywhere soon, so pick a team and just stay away from forums that have debates about basketball.
That isn't the same thing at all. Sports are compe ive and by nature create rivalry. Sony and Microsoft are two monopolistic (is that a word?) companies who produce a similar product in this case. Neither are on the verge of going out of business like Sega, so how does it effect you at all to advocate one over the other? Except for a few examples, most games are available on both systems. This is not like the old days of NES and Sega where most games were exclusives.
But anyway, if people enjoy the argument just because... carry on then.
Just to add my two cents to the conversation though... I dislike Sony as a company and give them as little of my money as I possibly can. That's hard to do now that they've locked up the HD DVD market. And as for the PS3 itself, I've disliked the controller since the PSX days, and they've done almost nothing to change/improve on it. All of that said, I'd probably still buy a PS3 if there were any exclusives that interested me enough.
I played MW2 on PS3 (PSN online or whatever its called) and I have to say the compe ion on XBL is waaaaay more advanced. I was straight up owning everyone on there. I own on XBL but what I was doing to the PS3 noobs was just sad.
The level of compe ion may be higher, but you'll undoubtedly find 10x more newbs on XBL.
And gaming isn't compe ive, and two or three competing companies don't by nature create a rivalry?
Are two basketball teams that dissimilar from each other?Sony and Microsoft are two monopolistic (is that a word?) companies who produce a similar product in this case.
This is still perfectly in line with my sports analogy, in my opinion. The Spurs aren't about to go out of business, so why support them over another team?Neither are on the verge of going out of business like Sega, so how does it effect you at all to advocate one over the other?
Which is what I've been saying all along, that the 360 and the Ps3 are extremely close in terms of overall quality. It doesn't stop 360 fanboys from going, "HUR HUR PS3 SUX", though.Except for a few examples, most games are available on both systems. This is not like the old days of NES and Sega where most games were exclusives.
I enjoy civil discourse if there is any to be had. I also like pointing out the stupidity of certain kinds of statements, like the above. But anyway, if people enjoy the argument just because... carry on then.
So.... you dislike Sony, but you like Microsoft? One of the most nefarious businesses in the history of the US? Really?Just to add my two cents to the conversation though... I dislike Sony as a company and give them as little of my money as I possibly can.
Misconception. Sony wasn't/isn't the only company that was heavily invested in Blu-Ray.That's hard to do now that they've locked up the HD DVD market.
I agree with that. The Ps3 controller is very good still, but it's in need of an overhaul. And as for the PS3 itself, I've disliked the controller since the PSX days, and they've done almost nothing to change/improve on it.
I only have a 360, gonna get a PS3 soon though. I remember playing Ratchet and Clank on the PS2 and it was awesome.
I dont know man. There are more XBL users I would assume so you are prob right but thats all I came accross on PSN.
cryhavoc : biggest fanboy on spurstalk
Yep. I'm a huge fan of gaming, sports, and a slew of other activities. Thanks for pointing that out.![]()
Too many system fanboys. Can't we all just like games? I'm hoping Halo Reach will be the best of the Halo series, but part of me is afraid it'll be overhyped crap, like Halo 2. Sorry, I liked the game, but it was WAY overhyped. I guess we'll see.
Will the new Halo have a decent final boss? I don't want to fight a small fliying orb again.
HALO 2 was not overhyped!! Take that back!!!!
The entire Halo franchise is overhyped.
I don't see the comparison. There is a winner and loser in sports. Determining which video game system is "better" is a matter of opinion. Or I guess you could look up number of units sold or something like that, which I have no idea about or interest in.
Plenty of blame to go around on that one. As I said before, nerds have been arguing about this crap for decades (yes, I consider myself one too).Which is what I've been saying all along, that the 360 and the Ps3 are extremely close in terms of overall quality. It doesn't stop 360 fanboys from going, "HUR HUR PS3 SUX", though.
Really. And yes, I understand the irony. But I have my reasons.So.... you dislike Sony, but you like Microsoft? One of the most nefarious businesses in the history of the US? Really?
But they are heavily invested.Misconception. Sony wasn't/isn't the only company that was heavily invested in Blu-Ray.

Completely average FPS IMO. The only thing about it I really liked, talking about the original here, was the fact that it was coop during a time when coop games were hard to come by.
i have all the game consoles but my ps3 gets the most use. 360 hardly has any exclusives i can't play on my pc
Why do people still about which console is better like it really matters?
I have both and I couldn't care less about which is better.
I got PS3 yesterday since my 360 died. The picture is a lot better on the PS3.
3D Movie Playback for the PS3 in September Share24 Posted July 9, 2010 05:19 AM by Juan Calonge
As previously reported, the PlayStation 3 is receiving 3D support in several stages: game support came first, thanks to firmware version 3.30 (released in April), while 3D Blu-ray movie playback was scheduled later in the year. Now a more specific timeframe has been revealed: this update will be ready in September.
Yet another future firmware update will enable 3D photo compatibility, to display the pictures taken with the two new Sony Cyber-shot cameras that take panoramic 3D pictures.
