The Spurs' Big 3 won't all collectively have a bad game again. Duncan will get his, but I'm looking at another down game for Manu while his schnoz continues to bother him. Hill comes back down to Earth, as does Blair. Jefferson offers discount rimjobs in the locker room after the game. You know, the usual.
I expect Tim to go for 25-30 tomorrow night. He usually kicks butt after a bad game.

Hill will not come back down to earth while Kidd/Terry are defending him. Kidd cannot play defense and has to rely on a bad pass or carelessness. If Hill drives to the hope or pretty much puts up a fake Kidd is dead.

I do see the Mavs trying to throw a few hard fouls at the guards as they drive the lane. The truth is that I am surprised that they have not done it to this point. They could have leveled TP or Manu on a drive instead of giving up layups.

Yeah, but that would give him like 45 points or more (with FTs)!

    That would be awesome!

My original prediction: Spurs in 6

Mavs don't drop this desperation must-win at their house, then come back down I-35 for the Spurs to close 'em out in SA.

I am terribly nervous about this game. All of these games have been close. If the Spurs pull another statistical anomaly (hit no 3's, have the big 3 tank...), they can't survive. I am still waiting for them all to click on the same night.

No idea how game 5 is going to turn out. Definitely need more out of the Big 3, though. As great as Hill played yesterday, it's not something they can depend on. If Tim, Tony and Manu can drop 20 each and shoot a decent percentage, high 40's, they'll have a damn good chance to close this one out in Dallas. If it takes 6 games, fine. But I want to see this one done in the AA.

Crowd will be angry. Mavs will be determined and the Spurs know they have a close out game at home on Thursday.

The crowd will be angry? It's not like they can go out there and play for the team though...

all of these games are coin flips with a slight edge for the home team. IMO

    who knows whose gonna win

I know my boys in blue will go down swinging though. there is no quit in this group of guys contrary to myths about this team being gutless or heartless.

I'd say your prob right and Mavs will win game 5, but then again Spurs could just want to get this over and be focused and win tonight, just so they don't have to worry about playing the first round anymore. I think anything can happen tonight. I mean Mavs have to have a little pride left they are a Vet team, but Spurs are a Vet team as well
