If I was Holt I would demand the Spurs run 100 laps followed by gasers after losing this game. If you are not gonna give me your all during the game then I'll take it from you after the game.

They haven't lost yet, but they need to get it together, I don't think they aren't fighting, they just seem to be like Barkley says trying hard.

Not fair to blame it entirely on Blair, although that moment was unquestionably the turning point of the first half.
Agree but what bothered me the most is see Blair laughing after that. We're down 0-3 and need to win to stay alive. The guy miss a OPEN layup and starts laughing. That's not the right at ude for a Spurs player

We aren't going to win if we attempt only 4 times at the 3 point line.

The Suns already have attempted 16 times!!!

Even if we are 50% from the field and the Suns are near 40% we are ahead still behind.

It's the same thing we used to do to other teams, the Suns are making more 3 points than us and that is what is going to win it for them.

Oh... one last thing... the Suns seem to be playing to win.... the Spurs are playing not to lose.

Suns are clearly the better team, and playing better ball.
it's not even close. the Spurs make the Suns look like the 2000-era Lakers.

Duncan has like 4 or 5 post-ups for the entire game IIRC, maybe 6..he scored on 1, drew a foul on 1, and got doubled and got Manu an open 3 for 1..he swung the ball the rest of the time..

They've pretty much neglected him in the post for some reason, same with last game..

It's playing to the Suns strategy..they're killing our perimeter players and the p&r, while doubling Duncan down low, so I'm not sure why they aren't going to him more..maybe afraid about his FT shooting..

Someone should tell Pop he doesn't need to save Dice for the next series. Tired of seeing Bonehead out there.

Manu has ac ulated some nice stats rebounds, assists, steals... but I have the feeling he is not there during this serie maybe the fact we don't see him attacking the damn basket.
He has a broken nose and when he does drive he gets whacked hard every time.

    They're shooting 45% without Barbosa.
46%, but yeah I miscalculated. Still it's not bad.

The way this team has carried themselves over the majority of the season, I wouldn't be surprised if they just throw in the towel as soon as Phoenix goes on their third quarter run.

For some reason, they aren't reposting Timmy after the double comes....some of that is a result of the crosscourt passes he's making in the direction of the guy comeing over to help on him, but they need to make a serious effort to get him the ball back.

He also lost two balls that would have been easy score if he had been able to just catch it.

He gets double teamed every time he gets the ball.
Isn't that a good thing?..it opens up for everybody else..

4-Down becomes annoying at times, but it's perfect for this series..

It's what the Suns should be doing, and they are... make him worry about getting hurt every time he drives.

Again, this team does not have the right mental apporach. Whatever Pop is trying to do with his small ball and other off the wall ideas, the players do not believe in him. It has gotten to the point where they do not believe in each other. Manu carried the team at the end of the season, but the team has not been a team all season. Pop is the culprit the reason and the cause.

It seems to me he hasn't been passing well out of the double team.

    where the is dice???

why the is hill getting minutes????

would it hurt to throw someone else at nash---someone physical to beat him up a bit?

just ONE good half of play---just DOMINATE ---with passion, emotion, tough physical defense----just one FREAKIN' HALF...

does anybody on this team have any FIRE!!!!
