    obviously you dont understand the value of Damp's contract. Any team that trades for him and waives him before August 1st does not have to pay his contract. If a team acquire JRich, they would have to pay him his salary where as with Dampier, his contract is non-guarenteed and the team could just waive him and not pay his ass a dime

    They have to pay some of his contract. Just not a large portion of it. Only like 3M or so IIRC. That is a huge chip, but I don't see it being enough for Bron because they will want talent back. It is not like FA's flood CLE.

    Maybe for some teams, but I dont think that will be the case for the Cavs. They need actual talent in return, not cap relief IMO.
