Yeah, it was only on the warmups and the floor. I wish I still had a copy of that old Express News poll where the Spurs put their top 4 designs and had readers vote on them. One was bright orange and another was hot pink . The one that ended up winning looked just like the jersey they ultimately used, except that it had aqua, orange, and pink on the side instead of silver.

I think the neck part really needs updating. No one really wears tanks anymore.

I don't think anyone is saying the jersey needs to be radically changed. A prime example would be the Lakers and Pistons. Same basic logo, design and color scheme as their early jerseys but tweaked just enough to look like its from this decade.

That's just like the Red, Yellow, and White Iowa State Cyclones with a Cardinal for a mascot... that is Red, Yellow, Blue, and Black.

I actually asked that to a drunken guy at a bar in Nebraska, and he wanted to kill me (he was being a bag before this) and so they kicked him out of the bar.

you know....i didnt notice until a couple of years ago that our road uniforms say Spurs instead of San Antonio......if the uniforms have been the same since 96, then that is a huge change that I never even noticed till a decade later.

The only things I would change about our uniforms....

1. Put San Antonio back on the road blacks
2. Put Espuelas instead of Los Spurs
3. Bring back the retro Silver jersey that the Ice Man wore....just for special occasions, like Christmas, MLK Jr Day, etc.

The Spurs uniform is a classic and does not need to be "modernized". All those "modern" uniforms will look like crap after a few years and the Spurs will still be wearing a classic. Leave them alone.
