    Basically, the best time to do the program for people like us in college is over the summer. I can already tell it won't be easy finishing the program when school starts.

    My Uncle gave me his P90X DVD's a few months ago after he hurt his back and I tried doing it while school was going on but it was really tough. I started it again a soon as the semester was over so I could complete the 90 days before the Fall semester starts. So far I'm only in wk 3 but its going good so far. The only thing that sucks is that my uncle never gave me the nutrition guide so I've just been cutting out all the obvious bad foods and eating more protein.

    Oh and that Ab RipperX is ridiculous! I don't think I'll ever be able to completely finish that thing!

    Not Salmon but other fish. How much Salmon did you eat per day?

    Damn you lost 60 pounds? How much do you weigh now compare to before?

    To start my diet off, I went a month where I had egg whites in the morning and salmon with a vegetable for lunch and dinner. As bland as that sounds it works like crazy. When I started the diet I was at 280, and when I finished I was at 220. 205 is probably my ideal weight but between school and drinking I haven't been able to really focus.

    yah its tuff for me. My weight fluctuates alot...i hate it though, cuz the extra fat goes to my face instead of other parts of the body. ive seem some really fat guys who look skinny when you look at thier face...i get jealous. lol

    nope...p90x is cardio mixed with strength training. The whole concept is called "muscle confusion". I dont do p90x, but i did take alot of its excercises and mix it in with my daily gym routine.

    I just started P90X a couple weeks ago and I've had good results. But I have the body type to put on muscle really easy. The workouts are tough but not so tough it's discouraging. I haven't had much trouble with any of them, but I've already noticed I'm quicker and have better body control when I'm playing basketball or soccer.

    btw I made a Tony Horton troll that freakin still hasn't been approved. Whose do I gotta suck to get trolls approved anymore?

    the main things you need are weights or bands and a chin up bar. It's good to have some pushup handles as well. Really that's the only things you have to have. If you don't have weights, bands work good, I bought a basic set at wal-mart that works just fine. You can make the bands pretty intense if you clip enough of them on there.

    P90X has been chode bloaded like eminem i saaiiiiiddddddd

    You don't need some mainstream crap like non-radio p90x to be in shape, just do hardcore underground and you'll look like this chode -

    If you really want to invest in perfect weights for p90x, i recommend the Bowflex Selecttech 552's. Thats if you have money lying around and dont want to clutter the room with different dumbells.

    yah they are...but its very convenient. Im able to stay home and hang out with my kids for Biceps and Shoulder nights. Though, I gotta hit the gym for chest legs and back.

    Your diet was essentially for weight loss though. You must have gotten overdose of fish oil and omega 3. Did you get ripped or just lean?

    How tall are you?

    I had a good amount of muscle under my fat, so looked decently ripped afterwards. I'm about 6'2". I wasn't doing a ton of weight lifting during the diet which is why I didn't put on much muscle.

    What TheMACHINE said, but I'm starting to do cardio on the side. I try to either play basketball or hike with a weight vest everyday in addition to this figuring that can only help tone. Idk what Dallas has as far as hiking trails (in Phoenix there are tons), but if you do that make sure you bring a gallon of water with you.

    I need to get back in shape. I went from playing college soccer and running every day, to doing jack squat. I can still go run a few miles and be ok, but I am no where close to the shape I used to be in. I have never lifted weights really. I usually just ran my azz off, did push ups/pull ups and plyometrics.

    I need to drop about 10 pounds to get back to being comfortable. I gained about 10 lbs since I stopped playing soccer over the last 3 years, but I have pretty much peaked in weight gain because I eat pretty well. But I need to up my exercise. It all bores me though because I love playing sports and hate "just working out".

    yah..i cant do the running "thing"...the only cardio i had was playing ball...now that my ankle is all messed up, i even had to stop doing that. Try the p90x...it'll take up the cardio section of excercising.. lots of reps of lower weights so it wont be to tough on you since u dont weightlift.

    Damn sons, you all put way more effort into this than I do. I tried doing the whole gym routine, but I just can't stand it. I basically stay in shape by doing sports - mostly tennis and soccer. Whenever I wake up, I also start by doing a few excercies, like some push-ups, leg raises, etc. I also d some push ups every hour or so if I'm simply sitting at home and doing nothing.

    Sons, you sound exactly like me. I can't stand running even 1 mile, but I can play soccer for hours. Now that I'm graduating though, it's gonna be much harder doing. I used to have 2 days a week of 2 hours of soccer "class"(really it's just a pick-up game), and then at least 3 more hours of intramural coed/mens soccer. Now I'll have to start looking in craiglist for pick up games, and those usually are comprised of older guys
