What the are you talking about?
So let me guess: You watch TV on a 13 inch screen in your living room, right?
You're still using this for your home PC, right?
And I'll bet the first time you got an iPod Video/iPod Touch, you said, "Wow, this is great... if only they can make the screen
smaller, it would be so much better!"
Your argument is equally hilarious because when the iPhone was released, it had the largest display available in the American market. Were you banging the "compensation" drum then, too?
Bigger might not be always better, but in the case of the Evo, it is. It's got a higher resolution than any of the previous iPhones, it has a fantastic touchscreen with haptic feedback, great colors, and is massively bright. There's a reason magazines have raved about the ability to watch movies on it enjoyably. If big screens weren't nice to have, you wouldn't see plasma/LED TVs, you wouldn't see the Nintendo DS consistently getting remade with a larger screen, etc.
But no, the MOST hilarious thing about your comment is the "phone" portion. Because the "phone" aspect of the iPhone has been the part that it has most been criticized for, since apparently the iPhone did everything well except... you know... actually making calls. I have a friend in NYC who still has trouble making calls with the iPhone in the middle of the day. I loved my iPhone when I had it, but it dropped about 30% of the calls I made with it. I'll post to this thread when my Evo drops a call without a sufficient reason (i.e., going into the DC subway).
Yes. We're beating you over the head with it. That's why you're wandering into a thread ABOUT THE EVO, right? This is pretty much the only thread about the phone on the site, other than the "Cell Phone Recommendation" thread in The Club a couple weeks ago. Why do you click on a thread about a phone and then start whining when people are... gasp... talking about that phone and comparing it to other phones in the thread?
You're in the Evo thread. Go away if you'd prefer to talk about the iPhone. There's even a thread below this one for it.
That's the most ignorant statement you could possibly make. Coca Cola and Budweiser depend on their name brand to carry them. Budweiser is beer. As anyone who knows a little about the brewing process. They'll tell you how horrific Bud is. Do you realize that they don't even use real hops when they make that beer? They just squirt a chemically altered hop-type substance into the brewer to create it.
Of course, it makes sense that you equate sales with quality. Because the mass public are educated consumers, and know what is the best to buy, right?

Gillette Razors, Bose headphones, HP computers, the Nintendo Wii, and Coke. Coca Cola is definitely the best soda on the planet.
