At first glance I say no, but why the not? Having him as GM would be entertaining on its own, and he would commit to defense and rebounding. I hope by some long shot miracle this happens.

The major thing I'd worry about Barkley is that if he gets into a heated discussion with a member of the FO, might not be pretty. Tends to be argumentative on TNT and those guys seem sick of the he says but they have been there for a while.
