Dice could be usable trade bait. Id hate to see him go but he could probably be bought out and maybe sign again with us????![]()
Infact we don't have any SF at the moment, until resign with Jefferson.

Worse than fouling than nowitzki and .4? ing morons...
I am so grossed out with this off season. Bonner + RJ = Massive Fail. Even with Tiago (which is the only shred of good news), this team has not done anything to really help themselves as things stand.
Same bad fits & playoff chokers on the roster.
I think without any hopes is worse..
It is with hopes that you achieve your dreams..
still doesn't compare, it's like crying about not getting a raise when the guy next to you just got fired and his wife left him
they mean that by next season ding dong
firstly, with 2 more mils. added to the salary cap, we can sign bonner as a 5th man. do not tell me we could have gotten a better 5th man. he prob. would not be signed if the cap had been lower.
moreover, rj signing is a decent one - not great, but decent. look at how much ppl pay for quality/below-par SF on the market - rudy gay 80 mil, durant 80ish mil, etc. he has plenty of experience and he may have had a bad season last year. heck, in 09, he averaged 39% from 3. last year, he only got 33%. hopefully both rj and tony bounce back from bad years and we are all healthy.
I wouldn't be shocked if McDyess is gone.
Pop is going to be playing mad scientist with five legit rotation bigs. It's obvious to anyone with a brain that Bonner is the worst of the bunch, but he possesses one thing that the other four don't and that one thing is a thing the Spurs are both lacking and value greatly, so he's going to play.
He's not going to just play 10 mpg as the fifth big and not play some games. I can't imagine him at his peak going from a 20 mpg third big accepting being a fifth big and given that he's signed for 4 years and I'm guessing $15 or 16 million, presumably the Spurs didn't pay him that to be a fifth big.
I know McDyess is retiring after next season, but still. I've got to believe Bonner would not have signed if he were going to be out of the rotation more often than not for a year.
If they do trade McDyess, my guess would be they'd receive a combo forward in return. No one springs to mind immediately though.
Why would I care about the guy next to me? lol... that guy... probably was an asshole that deserved it anyway.![]()
Would love Dice to agree to a buy out and sign right back here![]()
It's done![]()
Not officially, dork. We want that in ink.
Splitter greater James
Posting from Iphone works
let it be a lesson. unless it's on paper, it means absolutely nuffin.
So true, first thing I thought of after seeing this..well played by the FO..
If 760 is reporting it it's done...
Why do I get the feeling Ducks is actually typing the iPhone part?
Then tell me what the contract deal is?
Dice doesn't want to go back to Denver. They had to pay him for the last 2 seasons after the Iverson/Billups trade.
It's done "theoretically" not actually. That is what people are stressing, until big man signs his name on the line it's not officially done. Semantics maybe but still warranted.
I'm with those who won't celebrate until the ink is dry. By Monday, Splitter could easily change his mind. This is a guy who entered and backed out of the draft like 14 times and then said he'd sign with the Spurs after one year ... only to back out again.
Patience.
