Every kid goes to school with tax payer dollars. The private school is just cheaper and more beneficial.

If Health Insurance isn't provided for everyone, then why should private education be provided for everyone? I don't really like Obama but I do recognize the non-issue this particular time.
Don't know how much time you've spent in DC, but I'm gonna make an easy bet and say it's easier to secure the daughters of the most powerful man in the country at a private school. I'll also go out on a limb and say no president in the 20th Century and thereafter, with school-age children at their time of service, has sent his children to a public school.
Certain things just aren't done.

Firstly, I don't understand how traveling in a plane and having a dog make one an elitist.
Secondly, regarding his children's education, I can't say I would not do the same if I had the means. However, I hope our President feels an obligation to raise the standard of teaching and the safety of the environment in all public schools for all of the children that are not able to attend private ins utions.
I'm not sure what his plans are for that.
