It's kinda ironic, considering one of the ways religion grew was through the human experimentation with psychedelic plants/fruits/whatever, making them trip balls and have "religious/spiritual experiences."
It's all peyote and shrooms, imo.
Why did you remove "gay" from the quote ?

“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep."
Bigzak, my son, I am with you.
You young doubters.![]()
I didn't.
Looks like Mouse retroactively put that in there.
Zak--
1) Do you talk regularly with a preacher, minister, priest, revererend, or whatever? If not, (and it sounds like you don't) you probably should.
2) Is Wifey on board with your philosiphies? Are you preaching to her constantly? Because I'm starting to envision you becoming like the mom in 'Carrie'.

I like BZ but damn brah, this is the kinda that ends with the headline on the news "local man kills family and self to ascend to heaven because Jesus told him to"
Bigzaks is good people and I wish him nothing but the best. I do hope he is talking to someone though as S y stated.
You are definitely not the only person to have that thought.
...and then you kill the lamb...and call it a sacrifice...and eat it and call it something else....
but all is good in the name of god...
"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth"
Face it folks, all of us are going to be working for Big Zak one day...
Nah, I say that Lucifer inspired that line. We shouldn't follow it.
This post is to proclaim what everyone already knows.
My word means nothing.
Only the words of Jesus are infallible.
I have asked Kori before to delete my accounts.

and even MasterYoda, as I was never worthy to post as that troll.
She has her own reasons for not doing so as of yet, but I submit the request once more as humbly as I can do so.
I am not stopping posting at Spurstalk because I want to prove a point.
I have no points to prove.
I am stopping because my wife wants me to and I want to respect her wishes.
I am stopping because I have nothing left to say here that has any meaning, not that anything I ever said had any meaning to begin with.
I am stopping because I no longer really care whether the Spurs win or lose.
I am stopping because, while for so long I saw this site as a family, I now realize that it is nothing of the kind.
It is difficult to walk away and not look back because I mean what I say when I say I love you.
But I love God and Jesus more.
I want to hug my true family, and I will no longer waste time trying to hug a virtual one.
With Love,
lil sac.![]()

Keep out of the dark side, he cannot not.
Thanks. I think that everyone should examine their beliefs deeply. (The important ones, of course. I'm not expecting anyone to reflect greatly on why they believe Mountain Dew is better than Coca-Cola.)
But "apart from me" isn't quite the same as is usually depicted. If God is perfect, and our creator, I would assume that what is generally "moral" for humanity is moral for God. If I were to give a gift to someone, and they rejected it, it would be moral, of course, for me to decide to cut ties with them. We would not consider it moral, however, to punish someone for not accepting a gift. Agreed?
Yes, but with a statement like this, how can you justify his actions? If we can not "know his ways" as it were, then how can anyone say what is justified and what is not?
I believe in a system of morality based on rationality and liberty. Many of the Ten Commandments follow these guidelines, as did Jesus. But if God allows for slavery, punishes far greater than one would expect, etc etc, how can these actions be moral in any sense other than "It's God, so it's different"?
Good Gawd
Own up to your mistakes and your ignorance. You opened your big trap and you got shut down here. You came out as an arrogant judgemental prick and now you're crying for victim status.
I have no pity for you, you're pathetic. And you should have always held your real family above your virtual one. You didn't get scoffed because people here are big meanies, but because of the consequences of your arrogance and your condescencion.
If you do leave, good riddance. This wasn't much of a debate or a discussion of ideas. This was some bible thumper acting typical, yet not to knowledgeable about the bible, rules of logic, or anything outside of tasks that only require muscle memory.
You can stay, you can leave. You can grow a thick skin, or you can be so sentimental and weak and scurry away like a dog with his tail tucked between his legs.
the wife ordered him to quit spurstalk...
the wife ordered him to stop toking...watching sports in bars...drinking...
the wife got him brainwashed on the bible...
sounds like TRUE LOVE to me...![]()
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.![]()
