the zk v's are the best kobe shoes to rock on the court.
The Kobe V is an absolutely awesome basketball shoe, but I reckon butt ugly in most colourways.
If these new ones aren't fake, they look a lot better, especially when you change the piss & bruises colourway to something much better like black/black or black/white or black/blue...
I've been wearing Hyperdunk low's lately and absolutely love them. Very similar to the Kobe's but available in much better colours.

dude..i loved the Kobe IV's! Then i tried the Kobe V's...end up buying 3 pairs. If you dont want to buy a "limited edition" version...there are plenty of general release versions that you can probaly find discount coupons for.
I also have wide feet and its fine. I also have hyperdunks and its not as comfortable for wide feet.
THis is my favorite general release one.

Yo pare. You said you were getting the black ones shipped to you? The blackout edition? I was all set to buy those months ago and never saw them in any stores around here and no one at any of the stores knew when they'd be released. I haven't really been to any shoe store in months. I might have to go see if they any place has them now. You'd think they would if the Kobe VI is already out.
The blackout edition I've seen on the internet have the dark grey on black. I've also seen an all black color scheme. Which one did you get?
I was set to get the "Finals Big stage edition" (the one on my sig) cuz i needed a "simpler" color, but my contacts told me there was a line outside House of Hoops and people were camping out the morning of the release.... So i decided to just pass on it. They are going for $300 on craigslist.
You are are right, there are two different versions of black outs, but i ended up "making" my own pair. It's mainly black, but i added a little bit of white. Very similar to the all black version of "black outs". I should be getting them today. I'll snap a pix once UPS comes by.
I highly doubt that any stores have blackouts since they arent general release shoes. I did hear that stores in the PI had them. lol
BTW..the original picture i posted was rumored or leaked Kobe VI's...they will probably release in January and who knows if they will really look like that.
imho the Hyperdunk Lows are pretty good, but the Kobe IV's and Kobe V's both blow those out of the water in terms of performance and comfort. But for a relatively inexpensive and well-made basketball shoe, the Hyperdunk Lows are great.
Yeah, those Hyperdunk lows have been $50 at Foot Action I believe... at least a few months ago when I got them. Great ing shoe for $50.
After I bought the black Hyperdunk lows, I just kind of forgot about the blackouts and haven't really been looking for them. I might go to a couple places to see if they know anything about them. But like you said, if they're not general release, doubt any Michigan stores have them. Probably should just order a pair but don't really feel like paying more than the $130-150 that the blackouts would cost.
I used to buy way more shoes when i was younger. I posted these pair in that shoe thread in the Club a while back. These are still by far my current favorite shoe. These are a pair of Jordan Team Elites. I think they're 2008 but I'm not sure cuz I bought them at a Nike Outlet. But they're awesome. Extremely comfortable. I don't dare wear them to play. Plus they're slightly heavier than what I'd like to wear playing anyway. I just wear them out every once in a while. Got them over 6 months ago and the white still looks brand new.

I want the 2010 finals ZKV but they are limited edition and those sellers who have em scalper them like .
A surprisingly good basketball shoe is the Clima Madness..the price is cheap and it's not very popular, so it's a good choice if you don't want to spend too much..I don't usually look at Adidas shoes for anything, but these impressed me for the value..
The Adidas TS heat check is a good shoe for me

I play ball in the V's extremely light.. but not good when it comes to quick change of directions
