Favre and Roethlisberger are on the most-likable list.

    /credibility
No, Roethlisberger is one of the most disliked.

Casual fans aren't really aware of it, though -- they just know he's the greatest and appears to graciously tolerate stalkers who wear the underwear he shills. Even the media's half-assed attempts to discredit his HOF induction speech were mostly met with disinterest.
I agree with you both. Duncan makes sense. MJ not so much ...BUT MJ does market himself extremely well. So you have duncan who seems like a genuine great guy (if a little boring, not saying he is but I have heard that criticism) and MJ who is a manufactured likeable guy.

MJ makes perfect sense in today's world. Manufactured likeablilty. Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Iron Man 2, Eclipse, whatever...
You'll like it because we're going to spend a bunch of money telling you why you need to like it.

Major topic derail, but explain why Iron Man 2 is included in that list.

Really? I have only heard the opposite. He is extremely intelligent and witty and, according to teammates, one of the funniest guys on the team. I think his sense of humor might be a little dry and cerebic, but that's probably one of the reasons why he and Pop have been so successful in their partnership.
The only criticism of Duncan being boring I've heard refers to his on court play. He is fundamental, methodical and acute, but I think that makes him one of the most fascinating players in NBA history. Not boring at all.

Yeah. Good call. To be honest I haven't seen it yet. I liked the first one but heard the second wasn't as good. It just popped in my head. I was trying to think of a recent high grossing movie that wasn't as good as the hype.

To be honest I was just kidding when I said that. I stole that from somebody on this site last year. I just thought it was funny.

Timmies is definitely black. When his playing days are over he will see just how black he is.

Lakeshow is a black man from south central LA. I've been typing on this page for the last 20 minutes but I just cant do it. I wont insult a race over the internet. Most of the time the insulter is not what they claim to be so I wont bite.

I will say that I appreciate the mexicans and what they do for California. Cali would go to without them...........literally

We clean your toilets!~Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa

If ya'll weren't so lazy, I'm sure a business would hire ya'll instead.

You guys are at the bottom of the list. Always have been and always will be.

Spoken like someone who has no idea what they're talking about. The reason Chamillionaire gets no radio play is because he isn't making garbage
Exactly...100% truth right here. Cham is one of the best out there..he's a lyrical fool...

You're the problem thats why they're trying to ship your asses out of here. Even black people know not to work for less than minimum wages, slavery is over, except for those who leave their own country to come here and work for $1.50 an hour or less. You can't blame the business for trying to make a profit. Cheap labor, no benefits, under the table payments, no taxes, etc... We can't make a living like that. We don't live with 20 people in a 3 bedroom house...but enough of the insults,

I work every day and have worked for the last 35 years. My friends work everyday as well. We are all doing well, we're not rich but we're middle class. We're happy. So when you say yall are lazy who are you referring to?

You know what, I thought we were going to go back and forth using juvenile racial banter, but you had to go and intellectualize the discussion, thereby harpooning all subsequent blasts on my part.

Fair enough. Previous statements officially retracted.

Duncan is not black. He is as white as Matt Boner.

The Spurs have had an all white team for the past 10 years or so. No true "black males" on the entire roster.
They had Stephen Jackson man, get real!!!!!! Horry as well . Are you high? Oh yes Bowen is dirty as , so he is not black? :

    Get it.
Tim Duncan is NOT black, unless by "black" we simply mean he is not white.
Nobody is black so to speak lol, they are brown yes.....

MJ was an amazing basketball player, no doubt, but that doesn't mean he was always gracious and eloquent. Any of you all who watched his hall of fame acceptance speech a little while back were likely able to identify his extreme sense of self-worth (some may offer the word "egotism" as a synonym). I used to believe that self-confidence and selfishness were inextricable, but as I've gotten older I've come to learn that you can be successful and still remain humble and gracious. Michael had trouble in his interactions with numerous coaches, players, and, with Chamilionaire as an example, fans. We're all human and Michael is no different. He makes mistakes.

With Duncan, he could be black or white (although he's obviously black) and it wouldn't have any bearing on his level of intelligence. The fact that certain people are saying he is the "whitest" black man shows how often they leave their bubble. In Africa, the term "colored" is considered less insulting than the term "black", while in America it is usually mirrored. In several parts of the world, there are "black" people who speak spanish, french, etc. Perpetuating the stereotypes that are regionally associated with a given race or ethnicity exhibits a lack of knowledge.
