Look at it this way, this may be Tony's best chance to do anything with the French national team, to get a win on his own. I think the Spurs should encourage Tony this one time to go for the gold. I normally hate the players doing their own international thing if they don't have a chance. But Tony deserves a shot at the accolades that Manu already has. It's also his best chance to guarantee a slot in the hall of fame.

If Tony can will that team to gold or silver and he can if he's playing at his peak, he deserves the shot.

tony is probably heading to LA soon I guess. a triangle trade including lakers spurs and nuggets would do alot good to all these 3 teams involved imho. spurs get melo who they have been drooling heavily over, and the nuggets receive bynum and picks and some expirings which give them financial relief. playing in LA tony will afford more time to spend with his old wife, and it's not news that eva longoria wants her young husband to play in a bigger city so the couple can spend more time together.
So lets say that hypothetically this was true and did happen. (i have no clue how the contracts etc would even work, but for the sake of conversation lets just say the sign and trade happened. Which we all no wont happen lol) 1.Would we really want to trade with LA? 2. Would The lakers become unstoppable?

    3. How would the following Spurs lineup measure up against the rest of the power teams in the league?
    PG-Hill
    SG-Ginobili
    SF-Melo
    PF Duncan
    C-Tiago

Our defense would suck. Tony Parker could beat us by himself.
