Lkrfan's edits shows what a follower he is. I did it to KoolAIDS_Man post and this unoriginal got followed right along like the sheep he is.

But, alas, he is a Laker fan.

Rodman was an all star. He should be a HOFer but he probably will get in post-humanously. I'll guarantee you that MJ did watch Dr. J. And if Kobe did copy MJ, who the cares? He said he has a lot of all-time greats moves in his arsenal. Last Summer he worked out with the Dream to fine tune his post game. I fail to see what's wrong with that.
Sorry, let me clarify what I thought to be obvious to all but the colossally obtuse. I mean, Micheal Finley was an All Star at one point, too, but no one would claim that SA nabbed an "All Star" when they signed him, would they? Rodman was never an All Star in Chicago with MJ, and he sure as is NEVER going into the HOF. His game was already sliding downwards in SA, two years before he got to Chicago. Rodman was a lot of hype built around two monster years in Detroit and a personality disorder.

People think he was this ungodly rebounder, but 13.1 rebs/gm isn't punching his ticket to Springfield. The GOAT got by with the likes of Will Perdue and Bill Wennington in the post on teams KoME couldn't have taken to the playoffs.
KoME needs a CURRENT All Star big to win the ring. Jordan never did. End of discussion. KoME is the GOATIHMAFLF guard. That is how it will always be. I guarantee you that MJ was never breaking down film of Dr. J and copying HIS moves the was KoME copied MJ's.

You've no room, Silv, now that Neal has come on board.

    ha, ha.

Is that all you keep referring to? Kobe is a rapist but so is Neal? Who the cares about Gary Neal, he is a nobody and will most likely get his ass waived before too long. He's not the "leader" of the last two NBA championship teams, he never whined to be traded and threw his entire team under the bus, and he never went 6-24 in Game 7 of the Finals.

But it's not a surprise you're defending rapists since you routinely try to lure young Jewish boys off the internet to your playhouse

I always got the vibe that MJ had his own personal agenda when he was propping Kobe over Lebron. I think MJ doesn't respect Lebron but neither does he respect Kobe. Deep down MJ knows that even if Kobe wins 6 rings that Kobe gets crushed in personal comparisons to himself which includes stats, awards, etc. These things would be magnified in the comparisons done by espn if Kobe was to win number 6. He knows that unanimously Kobe would be seen as inferior to him and that if Lebron is portrayed as not even being on Kobe's level then his greatness is deflated. MJ is the greatest but he is also an asshole and I'm surprised some people religiously take his comments to heart without seeing his own personal agendas.

I would love to see some footage of Danny MFing Ferry being used by Pop to check Kobe. Now you tripping.

There is no mistake in my logic. PJ mandated that Shaq be the focus of the offense - and since it worked - why mess that up? Truth be told, Kobe was ready in 2002 to lead the Lakers but Shaq would have been butthurt if PJ let that happen so he didn't. It worked, so who am I to argue? Just for s and giggles: he averaged 22.5 in 2000, 28.5 points 2001, he went for 25.2 ppg in 2002 - so don't give me that sidekick . I know there are Kobe haters out there, but fact is: he averaged 25.4 ppg during our 3peat. That's why I said he played a major role in all of his les. 25.4 ppg as a "sidekick" during our 3 peat, and 29.8 ppg after the big do-nut eater left LA for 2 more (and counting).
Kobe scored 45 on 35 shots. That was a great performance, however the Spurs SG Derek Anderson was badly injured by Juwon Howard in the previous serie. The Spurs had to start Antonio Daniels, he wasn't a bad defensive player, but he's too short and Kobe shot over him at will.

The Spurs tried the reintroduce DA in the last two games, but he was playing awful.

Kobe was always able to score 1 on 1, but larger good defensive players made him take too many shots. Bowen wasn't the only one. During the three peat, it was unnecessary to double Kobe. When the offense was trough Shaq, he drew too much defensive attention from most teams, which made the things easy for Kobe and the other Lakers.

When the problems between Shaq and Kobe went out of control after the first championship, Phil wanted Kobe traded for Kidd and Marion. He didn't think Kobe was irreplaceable and didn't want Shaq traded.

Jordan's opinion is irrelevant, just like the opinions of other NBA people and the media, if we're speaking from a talent assessment perspective..

The only people that use opinions of others as an argument for basketball purposes are people that have no abilit to present an argument using facts, numbers and logic..ironically, a Laker fan is calling out Mike here, when Laker fan is usually the primary user of the "opinion of NBA people" argument..

Facts and logic show that Kobe is a top 10 player of all-time..

MJ never played with Shaq...only reason he has better numbers than Kobe. Had he played with a ball dominant center his numbers would be less than Kobe's given that Kobe is a more prolific scorer than MJ. Kobe coming for MJ....all the hits the fan this year...
