And to think... of all people, Sasha Vujacic seals the deal.
Oh the discrace.
What's funny to me is that both of those guys would get their asses kicked by either Pau Gasol or Tim Duncan.
This has been 3 times already. Bob Lanier killed Jojo White. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar killed Dr. J. And Bo Kimble beat Gary Payton...okay the last one doesn't apply. But still, I had Bob Lanier tell me, in person, that bigs that can handle the ball will always win because they just use their post up skills to back down the smaller player and then get their shot off.
You can say that Bean is too fast, or that LeBron is too athletic, but Bob told many of us that day that, eventually, being taller will give you the advantage. He also said this,"Tim Duncan would beat Bean...EASILY enough." It's because he can shoot outside and in, but prefers to go inside and take a better shot.
I agree. It's why Wilt is my GOAT. No way anyone could take him in a one on one game. Ever.
I get the feeling that there are some knob-gobbling know-it-alls who will disagree with you.
Some guy tried to get Bob to back the smaller players but Bob vehemently said that if the big is skilled, can handle the ball well, and shoot to 12 feet...that's almost a guaranteed win.
He'll get destroyed by a prime Shaq and of course, a prime Hakeem
We each received 16 NBA World Championships.
You, you have The Skunker.
ha, ha.
Hakeem, That's a game. But for Shaq...these games are 1 on 1 and reffed. So officially, since his ball handling skills are pretty limited, he's vulnerable. Wilt Chamberlain once led the league in assists and his dribbling skills are vastly underrated. Plus. at 7'1 and a solid 275 lbs, it's not like Wilt was SMALL.
ohh no it's there alright...:

muhahahahahaha!!!
Kobe would win because he would just keep shooting while LeBron was holding a press conference to explain his decision to Jim Grey as to why he decided to play Kobe one on one….
tee, hee.
Good morning, rat 2.
that cool man...they're requiring you to take that course for your G.E.D not bad ole Vul my boy...get that dam G.E.D and I'll talk to my pops about helping you get on at his practice. They're in need of janitors 'like' real bad.
Do you talk to your dad before or after you buy gifts for your mom.
PS - seeing that you know your dad, you obviously ain't no real hood .
i think Lebron takes it. his combo of speed AND power would be too much. he'd just bull Kobe out of the way time and time and time again. plus, i think he'd block more of Kobe's shots than the other way around.
What a wonderful vanilla post.
"I think lebron will win because det boy is strong!"
I think it's going to be close. Kobe will give Lebron fits because he'll just use tons of pump fakes to make an insane amount of jumpshots. Lebron meanwhile will surely use his weight and power to drive to the hoop. I would still give this one to Kobe because he has always been know to be one-on-one player than anything else. Kobe's default mode is to go one-on-one and that's something that Lebron isn't.
