i really don't think Jordan could average 100 per game in today's NBA. But I have no doubt he could average 40-50 pts per game. no doubt about that AT ALL.

MJ was the most whistle happy player in the history of this sport. In fact, he's the sole reason why they changed the hand check rule. No one got more favorable whistles than MJ.

Of course he would have scored 100, with all the trips to the FT line players are getting these days.
He didn't live at the free throw line? He averaged 8 free throws a night. The year he averaged 37.1, he was going to the line 12 times a night.

    yeah, extremely so

The True Story of the GOAT.

It all started with a Lucky shot:

He dominated a watered down league while gloating like a pig:

Then out of nowhere A savior was born:

He grew up and played with reckless abandon. He was the true "his Airness":

He Took The League By Storm and left "The Champ" in his shadows:

He knocked "the Champ" on his ass, mean mugged and forced "the Champ" to bow:

    Next came the endless comparisons:

    MJ pretended to befriend Kobe:

But Kobe had a vision that MJ was a fraud and fake friend:

It turns out they both had a love for white women but Kobe had more Ho’s:

Now after all these years we finally sit at the moment of truth:

MJ got depressed at Kobe's success and started smoking and dranking Just look at his eyes:

When vices didn't seem to help he finally broke down and started crying:

@ using an in his prime Kobe dropping 42 on a 39 yr old Jordan playing on a ty Wizards team as a reason why Kobe>Jordan. If you don't realize how re ed that is, you probably know more about youtube than you do about basketball.

Kobe dropped 33 on MJ when he was only 19. Prime or no prime, no matter how you slice it, MJ could never guard Kobe.
That same game (12/17/97) where Kobe scored 33 Jordan scored 36.
The other game that season Kobe scored 20 and Jordan had 31.

Career head to head they met 8 times:

Kobe scored a total of 182 points for a 22.75 avg.
Jordan scored a total of 196 points for a 24.5 avg.

Kobe didn't win an individual match-up with Jordan until Jordan was playing for the Wizards and was 38 (2/12/2002), 39 (4/12/2002, 11/8/2002), & 40 (3/28/2003) years old.

so lemme see if I follow your quasi-logic......an experienced and multiple championship winner Jordan barely outscored a teenage or inexperienced Kobe.... and it counts...whereas a slightly more mature Kobe coming into is own but still playing with a ball dominate Shaq and dominating MJ doesn't count because of MJ's age... ok I think I got it...

I watched the tapes and even as a lad MJ's points were primarily scored when Kobe was on the bench he played Eddie Jones or someone else gaurded him. When Kobe played him man to man in 80% of the iso plays Jordan either missed or got blocked or stripped by Kobe head to head.

Jordan never played his career against a player like Kobe...he basically had a free ride ever since Magic retired and the Pistons run ended. There was no compe ion for MJ and he certainly never played against and beat 3 1st ballot HOF'ers for the le at the same time.

MJ was lucky like I previously said. and his time is coming...that's why he's talking now. Not because he really thinks he could have scored 100 but because the warrior Kobe traveled a far Journey and he's now entered MJ's court yard, sword in hand and looking for MJ's head on a platter.

Jordan won six les and six Finals MVPs as the Alpha Dog, with no big even close to being dominant. His bigs were pathetic offensively. Defenses could key on MJ 100%, and they did. Yet he still beat them every time.

Bryant, on the other hand, shouldn't be part of any comparison discussion, because he has absolutely coattialed two offensively dominant bigs, Shaquille and Gasol. Bryant went 6-24 in Game 7 of the 2009 Finals, nearly shooting the Lakers out of the game, yet was handed the Finals MVP trophy as if Gasol didn't exist. The Bryant hero worship is an absolute joke.

The reality is that because Bryant merely tries to be as flashy as Jordan, he's handed things he doesn't deserve because the League has always wanted a Jordan successor, or "Second Coming" guy. At least LeBron plays the way he plays, and doesn't try to go Frank Caliendo on a guy like Jordan.
It's about time that Jewish punk realizes that there will never be another Jordan, hence, no successor. There is only one MJ

And Lakers fans in this thread get to STFU once the facts are actually presented again.

Also, ITT: Laker fan attempting to denigrate the GoaT in a manner that would/should be trolling, but they are so far gone into Kobe fandom that they actually think it's true now.

Jordan didn't care about scoring 100. He cared about winning. Huge difference.

He also cared about gambling and it cost him a year as Stern spanked him, spanked him hard & ran him off.

And once Stern owned him MJ let Stern make a monkey's ass out of him via the D.C. years.

I never watched MJ as I was really too young in his hey day/not born. But seeing highlights etc I'd compare Kobe to MJ a country mile before I'd compare LeCrab to MJ.

I know it hurts dude...but it's over for Duncan and now Jordan is about to fall...when it's all said and done we'll be debating whether or not Gasol was actually better than Timmy...I think since Timmy is cleary NOT in the GOAT conversation all time or at his position there is some sore pokey holes floating around here....

and some please tell that part time mistress Vulvaface that Oakcliff is named after a ing tree with daisies planted all around...

Comments from some cat that visited last year. So much for being from a tough hard city Vulva excretion.

was in Dallas in Feb. 09. After reading of all the DANGERS in south Dallas, I had to check it out. I think these warnings are written by small town people who have never been to a big city that has actual ghettos. The areas that are so dangerous appear to be your average working class neighborhoods. There are more minorities in the southern sector of the city. I think they are associating skin color with crime and danger. I am a white geeky male and I had no problems in south Dallas. Oak Cliff was actually a pleasant surprise. The English tudor homes are beautiful, and the Bishops Arts District was very nice also.

If you guys (those who post the DANGERS of south Dallas) want to see real ghettos, try the Detroit area.
I never really saw anything that is bad as these guys posted. I was also suprised at how clean Dallas is. Have a lovely!
