Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones? Parcells was long gone before the Cowboys were looking into signing those guys.

tbh this current team is mostly built around Parcell's draft picks. He got fed up with Jerry and packed his bags so now we're stuck with a yes man who exhibits no leadership and coddles his players. Garret's playbook is a one trick pony with 3 legs and opponents are taking the advantage.

This team was a mistake machine in 2004 - 2006 when the quitter Parcells had to be begged back in 2006. The guy did a mediocre job in Dallas. Parcells then quit in late Feb. early March of 2007 after other potentially good HC candidates were already hired. Parcells blew a BUNCH of the draft picks here from 2003 to 2006 (including 3 offensive linemen high).

The current coaching staff is also a joke. The players have NO FEAR of being benched, fined, etc.

The sad thing is that the common thread that breeds this environment will NOT be replaced. JJones is going to waste the careers of a bunch of really good players. When he is out of the picture this team might have a chance.

Agreed. On the radio post game up here, someone said that when a Cowboys player screws up in practice, they write it on an index card and give it to his position coach so it can be addressed without embarrassing the player. When you run a professional football team like an elementary school, this is what you can expect.

I live up here too, and it is disgusting to see this team just flop around. It's not surprising the thing is run poorly, given who is in charge. Jerry wants to cozy up to the NFL players and does not want to be the bad guy ever. He undercuts the coaching staff by doing this.

When the pampering ends (hopefully with a brand new coaching staff next year), true winning can begin.

I'm afraid this current crop of players may have been ruined already and can't learn to execute in any form or fashion. It sucks.

I almost wish this thing would go 1-15 to shock the moron JJones into stepping back for good. His son Stephen is actually a lot smarter than Jerry when it comes to actually running a football team. I sincerely believe he would hire good coaches and bring in a seasoned person to oversee the college and pro personnel.

I wouldn't be a bad thing if his old man Jerry just keeled over tomorrow.
