I wouldn't hate Bonner if he were used properly.
My definition of "used properly" is he enters the game at either forward position when matchups dictate having a bigger body in there and he defends, grabs rebounds and shoots threes for a few minutes. If he isn't hitting his shots AND doing at least one of the other two things, then he's put back on the bench. This happens a maximum of twice a game. Rinse and repeat. Either Bonner gets 4 minutes of game time and goes 0-2 or he gets 15 minutes and goes 4-6. If he has one of those rare nights where everything's working, then you let him play 25 minutes, but he never starts and never gets put into the game for any reason other than to shoot the ball.
