the key to my statement is history2b claims greatness has always been measured by rings. It wasn't always that way, it's a recent thing. See the Russell overrated thread for my explanation. If rings were a measure of greatness, Wilt with 1 ring in 1970 would never have been considered the GOAT. The average Jeopardy contestant would correctly answer more of these questions than the average NBA player or coach would.
