Dude its not Spam. Its our official website. Minute By Minute Sports
No offense at all...but spam is basically sending out bulk information to get people to go to your website or purchase something...putting out links to your website on a website that so many people view on a daily basis is spam. Not saying it's wrong, as long as Kori and LJ aren't bothered by it, neither am I..but I tend to agree that technically, that is spam.

Jon Gruden will get in the players faces and earn their respect. Total opposite of Phillips.
    Exactly what I'm saying..

Good, but damn I was hoping Garrett would get the boot as well. We are ed even more if he sticks around.
Don't worry..unless they go 6-2 or better for the rest of the year, I see us fans getting what we want...a big name disciplinarian coach. JJ wouldn't have fired Wade a day after he said Wade was staying if he wasn't ready to swallow his pride at least a little bit.

Too bad he didn't do it several weeks ago when they were clearly playing uninspired ball and a change might have made a difference. I'm still happy with the change.

Wade was a good coach and all this lack of discipline talk was mostly a scapegoat from fans in denial. It's much easier to talk intangibles than come up with any real concrete arguments against the guy. In any case, I think it's laughable that red balls has been given the job. He is a horrendous playcaller and OC and he'll make an even worse HC.

Yeah, they've clearly been playing hard because they fear and respect him, and the guys not giving any effort have been on a very short leash.

This lack of disclipline talk was obvious to fans with eyesight.

*Ahem* about time already, Wade Phillips' regime was about as soft as my jawline

    Exactly what I'm saying..
But that doesn't mean anything if there aren't wins to show for it. I'm sure Gruden will get in their face and demand respect, just like he probably did in Oakland and Tampa Bay.

The fact still remains that for all the respect that he commands and that you say Wade is a powder puff, take away that Super Bowl Gruden wins with a team built by Tony Dungy, and they have comparable mediocre records.

When did Gruden become a football genius again? I guess it's when he did a Barry Switzer with the Bucs that Dungee built?

So you think Wade commanded that locker room? You feel like his players were well disciplined?

I guess you also thought he was doing a superb job as the defensive coordinator, right?

I think he had the team playing well until Romo went down. The defense and the offense were ranked in the top ten. The majority of mistakes were made from over-pursuit, or from an over awareness of their reputation as penalty prone. Guys seemed to be trying too hard, rather than not trying hard enough or because of any lack of focus/lack of discipline. To me, that mantra seemed to wrap things up into a neat little package for the media and fans to regurgitate, rather than focusing on the many, many problems this team had. Sometimes it was a personnel problem, definitely. On special teams for example. When you let go of many key special team pieces in the off season and rely on one of your worst draft classes in years to fill in the gap, you're going to suffer for it. Up until Romo went down, you didn't have an argument or at least it was a flimsy one. After that happened, the team gave up. So I can see some validity in what you're saying. But, I don't think a disciplinarian would have made much of a difference, not when you have personnel on your team that quits. I don't subscribe to the idea that a disciplinarian is that effective at the profesional level of play. You remember all those times Tony Dungey yelled at his players? What about Lovey Smith, or the majority of coaches that have gone to the super bowl the last few years? Do they carry that reputation? Moreover, JG is Jerry's answer? That's the best he could do? JG will not have success as the HC. He will be abysmal.

They should have fired him after the loss to the Giants in the 2007 playoffs tbh.
he should not have been hired in the first place

Jason Garrett is not the longterm answer, moron. He's only here to fill the gap until next season where Jerry brings in a big name or if a miracle happens and Garrett completely turns the team around. The Phillips firing had to be done. He brought absolutely nothing. His leadership sucks, and the defense has really gone downhill. The defense runs exclusively man-to-man and nothing else. What kind of joke is that? You could have the best corners in the league, but if the QB knows what's coming everytime it doesn't matter. If Phillips doesn't have a good defense, he's worthless.

lol @ firing Phillips not the answer.

Even RedskinFan knows that Phillips is an abysmal excuse of a coach as evidenced by them jacking off every season he was retained

Not only redskins fans brah...Wade benched Flutie (excellent starting record) and started Robosack against the ans. I've never forgiven him since and I thoroughly enjoy his failures now

Actually, JG's probably the head coach. League rules require that Garrett be given the "interim" label because they have to interview a minority for the job. There are also quite a lot of reports up here that players don't like JG, many of the same guys who liked Wade. My guess is that it's because they know they won't get to sit on their helmets at practice or be able to show up whenever they want anymore.

As long as fans understand that firing Wade isn't going to completely turn this team around, we're kosher. We've got a lot of work to do..this is just the beginning. And I really don't see Garrett keeping this job unless he goes 6-2 or better over these last 8 games, which still probably won't get us in the playoffs. Either way, Garrett won't be here next year, and we won't be in the playoffs...one man's opinion.

So, JG is not the long term answer...unless he does really well? That's good to know. Tell me, how is it you're even allowed at a computer? When the rest of us were learning how to function in society, was your second grade math teacher teaching you how to fist a second grade math teacher? I don't think anyone needs your take on anything, dip . Why don't you stick to your "lol' threads, so you don't have to your brain through your mouth every other sentence.
