Should be an interesting, unpredictable match up..

Howard usually owns the Spurs, so I don't expect much to change there..his moves and overall offense is a lot better this year, but his defense/rebounding has declined because of it, and he's still mentally weak..he's still the most intimidating paint presence in the NBA from a defensive standpoint, but there should be more room for the Spurs perimeter players to attack..

Carter has had a bounce-back season so far, playing efficient basketball..so Jefferson will have a good task there defensively..if Vince is guarding RJ, which he probably will be, Spurs should have Jefferson go at him early, VC has been picking up fouls lately, which has taken him out of the game and hurt his offense..

Nelson always hurts the Spurs too, so we'll see how Parker's D looks, hopefully it holds up like it has been this season..Spurs have had a tough time stopping him on the p&r the last few years..

Lewis could really go either way..they'll probably run some post-ups and screens if he's being guarded by a smaller guy, but he's pretty much just a spot-up shooter now..Blair will have a tough match up against him though, so they'll probably swing it to him early..

Bench play should be in the Spurs favor, Orlando's bench has been pretty poor this year..Re is having an off-year so far, Pietrus is in the doghouse pretty frequently, Duhon is horrible, Anderson is mediocre..

Bass and Gortat will be a handful though, so hopefully Splitter gets to play, I don't know if I like Bonner matching up with Bass..
