yeah! You tell that ill-informed got. & To the guy who is talking about "how quickly we forget defense" If anything, Anderson surpasses Roddy in the defensive area. & Roddy's perimeter shot doesn't have on Anderson's
But the most important thing is, that Roddy can NEVER contribute to the Mavericks, the way Anderson WILL contribute to the Spurs. because
Spurs System > Mavs System
One of the greatest benefits of getting the top seed in the west, at least if things play out the way they're looking now, is to get a Lakers/Mavs second round series in the playoffs.
Utah, OKC, PHO, NO... I don't believe that any of those teams represent the kind of threat that LA and DAL do. LA is who we're gunning for, and the Mavs were originally constructed just to beat us. Having those two teams play each other would eliminate one of the biggest threats two our le hopes. And while I think LA is better than Dallas, the Mavs actually have weapons that could give LA trouble, and a big front line to match up inside.
Not gonna hate on the Mavs. Mavs are a legitament threat to win the West this year. But damn that large lurking shadow of 06' finals and 07' historic playoff loss.
Pretty much 'cause he then went on to suck for the next three or four games against crappy teams like the Wolves and Clippers, besides Tony has lighted up this current Mavs core many times.
Dirk is a nightmare matchup against us and Terry plays out of his mind. I'm still surprised we beat them in playoffs last year. Must have been the revenge factor.

Last year the Mavs won the regular season series 3-1 and the Spurs won the postseason series 4-2. Which would you prefer?
i was at that game and i gotta give it to the mavs they just made everything and we bricked wide open shots, im sure that had to do with their defense exhausting some shooters.
and im sure bonner was defending our post for 48minutes. enough said. when we run into good teams w/ dominate centers pops bf is F'd
looks like what the suns-spurs went through for the past decade-ish, they would win almost every game in the regular season and then when the playoffs rolled around, we beat them when it matters the most
