    hey breiden

    you're the resident expert
I'm not trolling or tryin to be a smart ass, I really want to know

Why the would a man in a fight wear shorts that require him to put his hands down below his waist to pull them up so many times in a fight? Surely this is not an advantage?

BTW was obviously a finished fight after thirty seconds into round 2. Koscheck figured his best chance to win was by doing nothing, throwing minimal punches, and doing nothing.

    I am completely nonplussed

i ask a simple question after a UFC twice, and noone comes close to attempting an answer

Guess I just suck that badly

It's not an edge and i really have no answer for you other than the type of shorts he wears are part of a sponsorship deal he has with various companies or an odd personal choice.. But yes if they are not compfortable why wear them??

anybody else watching this bull ?

It's something prevalent in boxing too. I have been watching boxing since I was a child and since Lennox Lewis killed my boxing interests I was out of the game. Then two years ago or so (since Brock arrived I guess) I'm full into MMA ppv

Not like fully but I want to see the fights.

This was the first time I ever saw the guy on Breiden's avatar, I recognized him instantly.

I just watch to watch, I analyze and take mental notes. I used to rent and re-watch every original UFC back in high school and collegeg so in that respect it's interesting to me....especially the way the game has changed.

Tonight what I saw was a completely outclassed fighter do jack after his eye got swollen up. Furthermore he fell victim to that short-pulling-up syndrome that is even pervasive in boxing. That doesn't necessarily spell doom...Pacquiao does it on the reg and still managed to deck the out of his opponent (which is why I pray to good Pacquiao wears shorts that don't require him to drop his hands when/if he faces that ass black ass Mayweather).

And ironically most of this fight was pretty much a boxing bout. Koscheck was completely overwhelmed once that eye swelled up. It's as if he told himself mentally that he would be satisfied with just not submitting/getting knocked out.

In my eyes that makes him an even bigger pussy. He played to lose. Complete, bark-only, .

    good stuff scrah
i didnt get to see it. had to read ufc chatroom
the loose shorts thing pisses me off too its like wtf bro

  13. #63
How could people not notice it? My chick that I drag to these events to get ed up with me noticed it this time before I did.

It has to be a definite disadvantage when you're constantly using your jab hand to lift your freakin shorts. I mean keep your hands up at all times. But people who have shorts problems like this don't do it.

It's not a definite doom, like I said. I have seen Manny Pacquiao do this numerous times and can't help but wonder how awesome the man would be if he did not have to bring one or both fists below waist-level to pull his shorts up while he's owning the opposition.

3-2 this card, just need to hold my slim lead

I'm real happy with all the results of the main card. I honestly didn't care about the GSP/Kos. Danzig needed this, Miller beat a Brazilian, and Struve shut Mckorkle's annoying mouth. Unfortunately, the WW division is hopeless now. Honestly, what the 's next

Pulling shorts has nothing to do with the outcome. And it's not even distraction.
Anyway he was not pulling up his shorts. He was just checking if he still has balls in right position.

    Nice card

    Dolce diet and the jab

    McCorkle is weak

Dustin lost again. I don't know where he goes from here.

Jim Miller can get a fight for a le shot next - he is vicious and he is full pack. Him and Sotiropoulos would give a great matchup even though Bocek wants Aussie next.
Gotta wait for the siver George outcome though.

I would like to see Alves vs Hardy, Swick or Condit

The problem is that Hardy lost 2 in a row, Swick is set to fight and Condit probably will face lytle

Yep and that will be the criticism he gets. When you are essentially the perfect fighter people gotta find something to rag on you about. I wish he had finished but i understand why he didn't let it rip late in the fight. You're up huge why risk getting caught with something stupid?? Good fight though. GSP at 85 needs to happen
Yea I agree, I expected nothing less from GSP.

Sotiropolous should get a contender's fight after the next win, that's 8 fights (most of them by finish). I'd love to see him against a top 2 WEC guy or Top 3 UFC (since I think he is #3). Bocek doesn't have for Sotir, nothing, and Miller needs to go derail someone else, not Sotir lol

GSP isn't finishing fights because he wants to take the soul out of the fighters he's beating up for 5 rounds. Alves sucked in the aftermath, Hardy was , now Kos gets the curse. This is all part of a Masonic ritual, do some research people!

    What?
Underrating Jim Miller is you Stringer Bell

And you think that win against Siver will give him a le shot?

    Jim is better IMO

    As for GSP going up.

It will be really tough to fight Silva in his first bout at 185. Gaining quality mass takes a lot of time.
200lbs for GSp as he said will be what he wants but Silva is 220 ...

    Huge difference

Haha, I didn't mean to sound like I don't think Miller is great, he is and he works really hard - I just didn't want him getting in Sotir's path to a contender's fight.

I fell asleep before the GSP fight, but that Jim Miller sub was sick.

me, I needed to go 5 for 5... 2 for 5 isn't getting it done. Stupid Daddy, stupid McKorkle, stupid Alvez.

    Dammit.

Good card though, there wasn't a single bad fight -- AND -- we all got to see a bad ass knee bar. I LOVE seeing rare sub's like that. Truly a beautiful thing to watch.

Kos broke his right orbital in the first round - or rather, GSP broke it.

Kos wasn't allowed to fly home with the injury, so his trainers drove him from Montreal down to Boston, where he is having surgery today or tomorrow.

I hate to say it, but Koscheck deserves credit for toughness here. You know that hurt like . The doctor gave him the chance for an easy out and he wouldn't take it.
