Never thought I'd say this, but that sucks.
We need Anderson back now, and soon.

I guess Blair is going to be forced to show off his "beyond-the-arc" prowess.
Tiago you've got your nazr Mohammed moment...
Tiago played well in the last Denver game, 12/9 in 21 minutes. He's definitely familiar with Nene.
as much as I give Bonner he's shown up all year, we need him badly. here's to a quick recovery.![]()
Neal and Manu will be counted on for those threes, RJ as well.
I think Tiago will definitely get some minutes against Denver. McDyess is due a shortened game, since Pop wants to keep him fresh
Now is the time for Splitter to try to prove he is a 3 point chunker like he did that one game awhile back.![]()
He almost made that 1 three I saw him take.
Did you guys see Timmy hit that 3 the other night just after the timeout was taken?
Knees are the weakest link for a basketball player. Being cautious is certainly the right thing to do.
I hope Splitter will take that opportunity to prove what he is worth. He is a way better player than what he showed against Mavs.
Or against a bunch of other teams, right?
The majority of his results are anomalies.![]()
Good thing we're getting Denver on the 2nd night of a B2B. Might help us a bit.
, name these bunch of teams you are talking about? better yet, list how much time against these "bunch" of teams?
Self contradicting.
He was being sarcastic.
Bazinga!
But doesn't it seem like some people here feel that Splitter is a really good player who's play doesn't reflect that? Isn't that also self contradicting?
I think that most people are coming around to the fact that Splitter is a role player whose ceiling will be to provide 15-20 minutes of solid play and prevent the Gasols of the world from killing the Spurs while Duncan is on the bench.
There may be a few more delusional folks out there, but they are definitely in the minority.
I think there are some Caucasians out there as well.
This is going to be a make or break game for Tiago as far as how his minutes will come for the rest of the season. He must stay out of foul trouble/hold his position on D and go strong to the basket/get to the foul line on the other end. He can't be concerned with replacing Bonner's scoring (let's face it, Rocket's been a beast lately). RJ, Hill and Neal will have to pick up the slack there.
This is a huge opportunity for Splitter and he has got to show the team he can be a solid, dependable contributor. There are definitely trust issues with Pop and his teammates that he can only repair with how well he performs on the floor. It's time for everyone to see what we've been waiting for.
