yeah, Phil will be laughing his way into the playoffs without home court advantage in the NBA Finals and possibly even the WCF and semi's, depending on how many more games the Lakers keep losing

Going into the playoffs without home court advantage, yes this is phil's plan all along
And why is it the basketball gods always bless these assholes? Just when it looked inevitable that the Mavs and Spurs would grab the top 2 seeds, meaning the Lakers on the road as soon as the 2nd round, Dirk and Butler get hit with injuries, the latter of which was season ending.

I'm sure they'll cite Bynum's absence during the first part of the season as an unlucky break, but he chose to postpone his surgery, or they might cite Barnes, but the guy was a scrub anyhow, no more important to the Lakers than James Anderson is to the Spurs.

Luckiest professional sports franchise of all-time.

You know the saying, "rather be lucky than good." Lakers are lucky, nothing to be ashamed of. I'm just amazed at the way you guys seem to get every conceivable break in a championship season. It's probably because of all those vigorous ass poundings by the Celtics that permanently lodged a shamrock into the Lakers collective prostate.
