The rest are just remnants from the Lakers of the past. Me, I was a Spurs fan before anyone ever heard of David Robinson. Many of us went though the drought just because we were fans of the team and the franchise and what it stood for. Flaker fans are a dime a dozen in winning years, and you guys get cheaper all the time.

Getting swept back to back isn't that rare. The Lakers did that in 98 (to Jazz) and 99 (to Spurs). In fact, almost scored a trifecta (Lost 4-1 to the Jazz the year before).
And I wouldn't call getting swept out of the playoffs particularly rare. It's not like shooting 27FTAs in the 4th quarter of a finals game, or having your superstar shoot 40% from the field and then can still miraculously win Finals MVP. You know, things that happens once in a lifetime, but manage to happen to the same team twice within a decade. I would call those events rare.
