    1. how close was the Blazers in Game 7 (2000 vs. Lakers) That team was Staaaacked but they never got any closer ...

    2. The mavs from going up 3-0 in in the Finals?

    3. The spurs from repeating the same year?

    4. The pistons from going to the Finals when ... "bird STEALS IT. BIRD STOLE THE BALL!!!

    5. How about the Sacto Kings? IF Robert Horry doesnt hit that 3 Lakers first 3 peat never happens ...

    All that we were THIS close ...don't mean . Only the pistons in the examples I gave, came back the Two years later to win ... (fixed)

    2005 Pistons were a shot away from beating the Spurs... they MUST have won the 2006 Finals right?

    Suns got pretty close a couple of times, surely everyone must have respected them and not the actual winners...

    Dude just doesn't "understand" because as a Spurs fanboy he doesn't see what the actual people out there competing see... I wonder whose perspective is closer.
