Fish has slowed down quite a bit and struggles to keep up these days but again, being that it is preseason, I really don't want to see Derek going full board less than half way through our marathon. Come playoff time, I have no doubt whatsoever he will elevate his game accordingly and deliver when most needed.
Blake is younger quicker and again, fundamentally sound as a defender and I've said all this about his game well before he was a Laker. He's not lockdown type but he is solid.

A little playoff basketball and this uptempo perimeter chucking team that relies heavily on guard rotation will be exposed. All that youth that carries throughout the long 82 game season suddenly becomes a detriment in a 7 game series against seasoned veterans when all teams shorten their rotations to 8 or 9.

That's 10 players and that's all we'll see in the playoffs. You say uptempo but everyone that knows Spurs basketball can see the pace is slowing down to where the Spurs are happen, especially against playoff teams. Unlike the LAL, the Spurs actually beat the teams they're supposed to beat.
