It will be ... just wait another hour or 2 and it will as good as gone. Like someone else's baby. You can love it and play with it until you've had enough, then give it back.![]()
When you see something like this about once every ten years, what would you expect?

Yep. After all of that! Just ice. Buts lots and lots of it. It was pretty bad out there this morning from what I saw.
Fortunately, they decided staff didn't have to come in at noon as planned. Unfortunately, that information went up at 11:30. Full of win, there. Oh well. My stuff was handled, and now I can go back to bed.
Put your settings on 40 posts per page, then it's only 13 pages!
I just got home from driving a bit and the road are pretty much all dry save for a few puddles. Only ice spots are where there are trees. People are still driving as if it's white out conditions and 9 feet of snow everywhere.![]()
HAHAHAHAHAAAAA
This is very true.

that was hilarious.
I got to work about noon. There was pretty much nothing left on the street except a few puddles here and there and people where still driving like their car was going to spin out of control at any second.![]()
I understand the hype for a Texas resident with snow, I do.
But one time, I'd like to be in Texas when that snow happened just so I could laugh uncontrollably at all the hysterical overreaction.
Dude Michigan people die if the temp hits 100 so they really can't talk .
I on the other hand, am ing amazing. I survive San Antonio heat and humidity and come to NM and live through -18 like a champ.
Be amazed by me.
okay, weather geeks- just heard on the news that there's possible freezing rain in store for Wed...
That would be the more typical thing this time of year, what with it getting warmer the next few days, the atmosphere won't be below freezing all the way through and thus freezing rain is more likely.
It looks like NWS changed the forecast this afternoon, tho, now there's no freezing rain mentioned in SA's forecast, 40% chance in Austin (rain/freezing rain mix) on Weds, nothing but rain in Houston.
Those poor bas s in D/FW ... now a 50% chance of snow again tomorrowand 60% on Weds. We never had a snow year like this in the eight years we were up there.
But you are still not the World's Finest!!!
Updated forecast: 30% chance of rain/freezing rain Wed into Wed nite in SA, tho daytime temps are in the 40s it's supposed to drop below freezing around midnight. Austin has the whole gamut of winter precip in their forecast, and at 50%.
Of course my wife is supposed to head from Austin to SA on Wednesday evening, so this isn't terrible exciting news.
Not gonna happen. I don't buy into this system being cold enough.
