Since Boston fan won’t step up and stop this chatter I will do it for them. All the KG bashing is BS. All things being equal I would take prime KG over Duncan any day. Duncan was good but KG was more versatile, passionate, and more of a leader. Just like Duncan fanboy berate Kobe for playing with Shaq I feel the same way with the Spurs tanking for Duncan and then Duncan being gifted with good talent.
If KG had consistently decent teams in his prime he would have done the same if not more than Duncan. The dude was stuck in Minny and he had the misfortune of playing with Marbury. The fact that KG came into the league before Duncan and is still to this day playing at a higher level than Timmy is testament to his conditioning and work ethic. Spur fan will say Duncan has more rings than KG, and Kool will say Kobe has more rings than Duncan so it’s a moot point.
So what the guy curses, pushes refs in the heat of the moment, and picks on little guys sometimes, it’s up to the league and opposing teams to stop it. If KG makes Pau his I’m not gonna get mad at KG that’s on Pau. I think KG is a stud and I absolutely love his at ude. I hate Boston but I love KG’s swagger…and I’d rather have him on my team than Pau TBH…

If I remember right, KG slapped TD (from behind, of course) because right before that D-Rob had tossed him aside like a rag doll.
As for KG's behavior on the court, I don't have a huge problem with his chest beating and trash talk (although I think it's pretty immature and stupid looking, to each their own).
My problem is, he's a classic bully... AND, he crosses those unspoken lines that men dont cross. These are incredibly pussy-esque characteristics for a guy who tries to front the exact opposite way.
Talking about someone's deceased mother on Mother's Day? Calling out people for medical conditions? That's not quality trash-talk, that's straight up -mode. Trying to fight the smallest guys he can find while running from anyone with any chance of fighting back? That's Carmelo-style punch and run crap.
If Garnett was REALLY just a hardass that rolled that way, whatever. But it's so obvious he's a huge poser and a bully, it's hard to respect him on the court, especially when he tries so hard to compensate by making noise.
Even a crazy mo-fo like Ron Artest can see this, and the difference between Garnett and Duncan when it comes to true badassary.

Kevin Garnett's reputation as a dirty player has grown over the last few weeks. With that said, the Boston Celtics star will not apologize for his actions.
During Boston's loss to Phoenix last month, replay clearly showed Garnett committing a dirty play and hitting Suns forward Channing Frye in the groin.
After the two got in a brief scuffle, Garnett was ejected. And yet, he still won't back down.
"This game was physical as well and super ugly. I never apologize for my actions, as I play with passion," Garnett said.
