According to AggieYell.com, DT Malcom Brown of Brenham will not be in attendance for A&M's second Junior Day this weekend. Conclude from that what you will. Maybe some of the Aggies on the board can chime in on this one.
Update from Recruitocosm on where we currently stand with recruits:

Brown and Cole are keeping pretty quiet but a lot of Aggies are saying that they will definitely be in Maroon and White and it could come fairly soon.
On another note, Michael Richardson DE from Desoto looks to be #7 for the Aggies.
Designated T-
I've read LB Peter Jinkens of Dallas Skyline is heavily favoring the Aggies as well. He may not even make it to the second Junior Day in Austin.
Thanks for the information on A&M recruiting TFloss. I don't subscribe to any of the sites (seems overpriced for what you usually get), but I still like to know what I can about our recruiting.
No problem, man. I'll try to cover as much info as I can as long as it's relevant.
Good call on this one. Looks to be a done deal. I'll add him to the master list.
*Mack Brown personally called out-of-state OL John Theus of Jacksonville, FL today and offered him over the phone. His profile is on the master page. Yet another move made for the 2012 class that goes against UT's policy on offering guys who haven't visited campus.
*Another out-of-state prospect to keep an eye on:
DB, Tracey Howard, Miramar (Miramar, FL) (6-0, 170)
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footbal...-Howard-109101
Texas has commit number 6 - Hassan Ridgeway the DE from Mansfield committed today.
*Here's an out-of-state DT that the Longhorns are currently reaching out to:
DT, Jarron Jones, Aquinas Ins ute (Rochester, NY) (6-6, 305)
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footbal...n-Jones-119008
*I forgot to mention yesterday that Stacy Searels is in charge of the recruitment of OL John Theus for Texas. Searels has a good relationship with the Theus family as he recruited John's older brother, Nathan, for Georgia last year (where he eventually signed). It will be a tough task to pull Theus away from that part of the country, but it's a plus that Texas is attempting to develop a relationship early on in the game.
Good news. I kept waiting for a commitment or two to come along this week.
*The out-of-state prospects keep showing up on the radar. Darrell Wyatt has supposedly started to recruit the following player who's most likely to be the #1 overall recruit in the nation. He's known to favor OU, Arkansas and Missouri, but I love the at ude that this new staff is bringing. Don't sell yourself short when there's a long way to go in the recruiting process. It's a bit unclear at this point if a verbal offer is in place.
WR, Dorial Green-Beckham, Hillcrest (Springfield, MO) (6-6, 220)
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footbal...-Beckham-98834
*A second piece of good news from lunch is the coach of OT Kennedy Estelle was quoted saying today that Texas' lead in his recruitment is "large." Estelle keeps saying he wants to see other schools and isn't in any rush, but this is looking like it could go down before the second Junior Day.
Update on WR Dorial Green-Beckham...I believe this recruitment has been given the green light because Darrell Wyatt and Green-Beckham's father have known each other for a while. It gives Texas a bit of an "in" with this prospect. Factor in Wyatt's reputation of being money as a recruiter and things could potentially get interesting. Here's a quote from Green-Beckham's father (also his high school coach) about a visit to campus in the future:
"We’re going to make a trip down for spring practice and spend a day or two in Austin and see what Texas has to offer" Beckham said.
The fact that we're getting the number 1 recruit in the country to come for a visit is great news.
We'll see if they make it to campus but this staff is certainly more aggressive than what we've seen in a long time here. I think part of it is because most of these new coaches come from programs like KU, Miss St, Georgia, etc. and are used to having to fight tooth and nail down to NSD for every recruit they get. They're going all out, and if we can manage to land another one or two of these OOS guys to go along with wrapping up our top in state guys it'll be a big success as a class.
Welll we won't know until some real rankings come out (rivals) but he is definately close to the top.
I wonder if he would still want to come if they get Cayleb Jones.
This guy's 6-6 215 and runs a 4.4 40. Most people who have seen him or his tape say they haven't seen quite that height and speed combo since Randy Moss was playing West Virginia HS ball. He's not afraid of any comp at receiver no matter where he goes. Nobody in the country has that mix of size and speed.
Some tape on Green- Beckham

I've heard Jonathan Gray is pretty much set to commit to Texas. Him and Brown would complement each other well.
Curtis Riser committed, per Burnt Orange Nation:

There's another name that has been added to the 2/26 junior day list. Athens, TX Athlete Kendall Sanders is confirmed to have been invited and he agreed to attend. He plays WR and CB and is probably a DB at Texas if he's offered and commits.
Verbal offers from Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Missouri and Baylor.
