That's what I was thinking.![]()
I would add Corey Brewer onto this target list. Of course, the Knicks just acquired him from the Wolves, in an afterthought trade to the larger one. I doubt that he could be dealt again so soon or if the Knicks would even want to part with him for, say a first-round pick? However IIRC, I do believe he has an expiring contract, so he could be had over the offseason.

Bulls have traded James Johnson to the Raptors for a 2011 first round pick acquired from the Heat.

So the wHornets are shoppin Thorton??
SpearsNBAYahoo Hawks considering trading guard Jeff Teague and swingman Maurice Evans to Cleveland for guards Ramon Sessions and Manny Harris, source said.
Spurs need a SF. Legit one.
You don't think RJ is legit? Or do you mean off the bench.
^ I think he meant one off the bench. At least he should have imo.
Luc Mbah a Moute would be a perfect pickup. Perimeter D is our biggest need right now and he's one of the best at his position.
doubt that Mil would take Quinn/1st Rounder or rights to Nando for him because he seems like a Skiles type guy but he'd be a great addition.
I've limited the list to players whose salary was low enough that they could be acquired with Quinn or the minimum salary exception. Brewer salary is $3.7M. If Spurs want to get him they will need to trade a player like Splitter or Bonner to match salaries.
RJ is fine. They need a back up.
You people have crappy pipe dreams.
Sincerely I wish we could trade for Kevin Durrant.
Wish?
Why not?
Contracts not terrible. Playing well - not sure he's the defensive stopper we all wish.
If no trade happens, either Splitter or Anderson (or both) may have to step up IMO.
In fact, I can't believe how good the Spurs have been thus far with virtually no contribution from either of those two. Not in a million years would I have believed it.
Why arent the Spurs even testing the waters with this one?Nuggets join Thunder in teams interesting in Grizz center Hasheem Thabeet, sources say.
Who would want Quinn?!?!? quit smoking
Thabeet is getting about 8 minutes a game and doing nothing noteworthy on the court. There's no chance he gets any kind of playing time on a Pop team.
I think he could thrive in Pop's system!!
Gotcha.
Still, he'll be free this summer, so if the Spurs do like him, perhaps they'll have a shot at him then.
Because he sucks?
TRACY MCGRADY!!?!?!?![]()
Al thornton??? He is sitting on the wizards bench not getting any minutes. He is making less than 3 million in the final year of his contract. He has some size and is athletic. Plays the three and would be greatful of the winning environment. Send James Anderson and Chris Quinn. Thornton has a higher window than J.A.
Doesn't thorton have a low BB iq?
who says we aren't? the media?
