again, chances of Lakers in the finals is 1% or less. No reason to keep that albatross with a bad knee in the roster just in case it happens.

Hey what did i say? no one can stop Lebron ... my point was. the one weakness in the Celts defense was a good wing defender. green though not elite is good defensively ...plus anything that helps Pierce find his offense against the Celts is plus ... but I hate this trade for the Celts still. The plan is simple. Defeat the Lakers from a distance. If OKC plays LA and wins with Perk then Celtics don't have to worry about playing LA in the finals. No Lakers = No need for Perkins.

nothing ? Green is a talented 6'9 guy he is only 24 years old with 3 years in the nba. Perkins is 26 with already 7 years in the nba and a ed knee.

Green has a of potential, he is athletic, I don't see how it's such a bad move.
Perkins has a ed knee anyway and Green is younger.

Green is not garbage he is good player ...but two things ...
1. He is best suited for an uptempo game and despute having rondo the celts are not that ...
2. Sometimes gaining a btter younger talent doesnt translate to better success. Perk and Rondo were close ...and despute KG's antics Perk was the "muscle" like slim charles or Chris/Snoop without muscle the big 3 is not the same ...
even if Shaq magically played 40 mins a game, we will see some Retro- Hack a shaq again
