Are you sure you have watched Atlanta's offense? Bibby's a horrible point guard. Nevertheless, he's a good fit in Miami since he won't be a point guard but instead a shooter, like he was in Sacramento.

Joel Anthony is about to convert a lot of people this season.
He's not as big and strong as Kendrick Perkins, but he is a better shot blocker and he is faster and more agile. He can run up and down the court with a fast paced offense, and he can play D.
Front-line will be fine. The HEAT were one of the top defensive teams last year with Anthony, Magloire and Jermaine O'Neal playing Center.
also, opposing big's will be in foul trouble with LeBron-Wade-Bosh on the attack
They're better with Bibby than they were with Arroyo ... but not by a whole lot. Bibby is done as a player. 2008 was the last time he was even considered decent. But just maybe this move and the opportunity it gives him rejuvenates him for a few months and he ends up being a difference maker. I doubt it. But it's possible.

Mario is currently known for his great defense, is he not? Everyone has pointed it out. He can shoot the 3, but he's a little inconsistent right now.
As for Rondo, well, Rondo has been running with the Celtics for 3 years now? This is Year One for this Heat with Chalmers. Was Rondo anywhere near as good as he is now? nope. Chalmers has time to improve. He's young.

However, Joel has regressed. He not only didn't improve, he isn't even as good as he was last year. He got his contract and now he's chilling, apparently. Pat Riley would NOT have given him that 3-4mil per year contract if he played like this last year and had no room for improvement.
Certainly can't blame me for this dude mailing it in after getting a contract. Everything else I said is true.

He always sucked, he's just worse this year. His rebound rates have been awful his whole career. I understand he has no offensive skills but if he could just grab a ing rebound. I remember he had a double digit rebound game this year and they said it was first one in over a year. How can that even be possible for a 6'9 guy who can jump?
