    Did you watch any of the Mavs games when Dirk was out? That should answer your question . Pau is a perfect fit for the triangle since he can pass so well but he's not the type of player that can lead his team & be the number 1 option night in & night out.

    Sure, I don't have any problems giving him his due importance...But, Gasol has switched from PF to Center, very frequently with Bynum out, and has been able to adapt well at both positions - How would Dirk do having to guard Dwight Howard on his own in the NBA finals? I don't have a problem with anyone saying that Dirk is the better player, I just think you are under-valuing Gasol.

    Nowitzki's offense is better in my opinion but he is a lesser defender. Nowitzki does more for his team than Gasol for his though so I vote Nowitzki.
