Usually, lunchtime at these Brasilian steakhouses, during the week, are a whole lot cheaper. You wont get as many cuts of meat as you would for dinner but you get the gist of it.
Hummm...don't think I'll be going any time soon.

Lol I just saw this shiite
When did the Brazilian Steakhouse become a thing?
In SA, not all that long. In cities like Houston, they've been around for quite a while.
Went to the Fogo in Austin and wasn't that impressed. Great salad bar, great service, but the meat was... meh. Some cuts were more flavorful than others but overall they were all oversalted. Yeah, there's a lot of it and it looks really delicious coming off those spits but when you get right down to the flavor profile of the beef it just didn't justify the degree to which so many people swoon over that place...
Wait...what...?
Brazil? Steak?
You guys are doing it wrong

$25 for the salad bar? GETTING the salad bar at a steak place?
So of the three:
Chama Gaucha in Stone Oak.
Fogo de Chao downtown.
Texas de Brazil downtown.
Which one is the best overall in terms of food, atmosphere and price?
Come on people. Its $20 for lunch.
Best deal ever.
Now I could handle that. If only I could find a coupon. groupon?
I'm with you. I would much rather go to an Argentine steakhouse than a Brazilian steakhouse.
How can you drop $130 for one meal? I can eat all week on less.
No coupon. Just go in from 11am to 1pm. Call them.
$20 all you can eat steak and salad bar where guys literally come by and pick up crumbs off your table table with a stainless steel utensil.
Best deal ever.
