Shaq wishing he signed with the Bulls about now. Wait, there is always next year perhaps?
http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.c...ack-next-week/Shaq says he’s “85 percent,” could be back next week
Kurt Helin
...The Celtics yesterday decided to stop guessing when he might be back, but Shaq himself told ESPNBoston — at his birthday party, where he had a cake so big it was sponsored (we’re not making that up) — he was feeling about 85 percent and could be back as soon as next week.
“[The Celtics] want me back at 100 percent,” said O’Neal. “I tried to run on it the other day, felt pretty good, but afterwards we kind of took a step back, so hopefully in a few days, in a week or so, I’ll be back.”

I'm pretty sure you meant "except" up there.
And you and Kool are into some really freaky stuff, to be honest. You want to smell burning man ass. Pretty hardcore.

Celtics big man should have time to reacquaint himself before playoffs

Shaquille O'Neal is due to be sworn in Thursday as a member of the Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff's Association. Who knew?
That item brought about the following reactions:
From Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers: "He's doing something. That's good. For the community part of it, [signing Shaq] has been a huge success. His next step is to be able to do that for us on the floor."
From Mike Rotondi, a 31-year season ticket holder with floor seats: "I wish he would stop doing all that stuff off the floor and do it on the floor. That's what we got him for. It makes me crazy. He hasn't played in two months and he missed a bunch of games before that."
Gentlemen, we have some good news for you, especially since O'Neal has not played since Feb. 1, a 16-minute stint at Sacramento. Wednesday night's 90-87 loss to Memphis was the 22nd game in a row he has missed with his current medical situation, a right Achilles problem. He also missed 12 additional games combined with a bruised right knee (5), a sore right calf (4) and a sore right hip (3.)
A team source on Wednesday said that O'Neal is mending and on schedule for a return by April 1. That would give him two weeks to get reacquainted with the teammates he left -- and acquainted with the five new teammates with whom he has yet to play.

lol Boston whippin out the cash to dualie wield the two big drunken washed up and perpetually injured Irish twin centers, and then trading away their most reliable center for this le run
Sucks to suck, front office
Front office thought we'd get the Irish population if we picked up two O'Neals and a Green![]()
Unless Shaq has lost some weight, I just don't see how his achilles problem isn't going to flare up at some point from here on end.
This could spell some serious trouble for the Celts. I am no doctor but I do know that Shaq doesn't weigh no 220 either.
Good luck Beantown.
He's back in a boot according to a story from yesterday.
http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/nba...ory?id=6255067
WALTHAM, Mass. -- Boston Celtics center Shaquille O'Neal received a cortisone shot in his ailing right foot Tuesday and was placed back in an immobilizing boot, sources told ESPN Boston.
The objective with the boot is to eliminate the return of swelling after his Achilles injury flared up again recently while he was trying to work his way back to game action, according to the sources. The Celtics remain optimistic that O'Neal, who has been sidelined with the injury since Feb. 1, could return next week.
...and what's to think it's going to flare up again?
Is Shaq really serviceable right now or any time after April 1?
DNP: Fat and Old
good bro!!
I wish they'd retrofit something like that for Red's head.
